FIrst thing first.
Purvi needs to be fired for "insubordination" Disrespecting the boss by talking nasty abt him in front of other emplyees...NO NO
If not fired than on probation-suspension due to lack of respect and professionalism..
Diversity training as businesses are expanding under globalization...Purvi being first to be trained god forbid if her job is somehow retained..
Last but not least Bosses need training in Professionalism and Business ethics.Having respect for ea other...Discuss company decisions regarding emplyees in private and not in front of employees...Be on the same page-united...Not looking like Stupid A** in front of employees where one does not know what the other partner is doing...Looks extremely unprofessional..
Basically EK and her CVs are making mockery of Business and business ethics..

Hi Kools:

Dropping in here after a long break. Actually I had stopped watching PR pre-leap when all the nonsense related to Soham-Varsha was going on

However, I was recently on vacation to India for 4 weeks and was roped into watching PR by default as everyone else seemed to be liking it and the TV was on. Everyone very happily filled me in on what was going on and idenfifying the adult children for me and also on the Canada angle.

After returning I check out the PR forum and am back to your commentaries. I am not sure I want to start watching the episodes online but now I can at least put actor faces to the characters when I read about them. Your commentaries are more fun and entertaining than the serial itself.

What I was shocked to observe in India was the more regressive the writing and storyline (Saath Nibhana Saathiya and Diya our Bati Him) the more people watched it and the higher the TRP's. The more mahaan and sacrificing the female lead the more appealing she was (Archana, Pratigya and Gopi vahu). They have a large following in women in the 60+ age group who possibly make up the population who watch TV in prime time and thus contribute to the TRP's.

Purvi seems to be a younger version of Archana and hence getting the mass appeal. I watched a Star News segment - the SBS/SBB kinds where they showed a shot of Purvi butting heads with Sachin outside a court. The voiceover said that the judge had given a verdict where Manav-Archana were required to live together for 6 months to try and resolve their differences and if they cannot do so then the divorce will be finalized after 6 months.

Just a heads up as to what to expect in the next track...

Exactly what Ekta said in her interview . These serials entertain even the rural masses ...who dont have any idea of how corporates function or what business ethics are . They think Purvi's sass is something exciting and smart . The Bhagwan element in each thing ...be it a suhag rat or a business deal touches a chord . Touching the feet before court cases somehow makes everything alright . A Kali mantra or Durga mantra thrown makes any nonsense done by the female lead acceptable . Its FORMULA and she sells it in different packages EACH time .

I am getting very bored with Purvi , the character has failed to touch a chord in me and no actress makes me sit up . Currently I find this soap the most boring . Archana's new avtaar is so ill timed , bitchy and annoying that i cannot even sit thru the scenes anymore .All I was hoping for were scenes of a hungering MOTHER and I am seeing some totally unrelated crap . All the 3 ...Sulo , Archu Purvi come across as the bitchy feminist trio that wreck houses and give no sukh shaanti ,

Kool, i have stopped watching the show ... i switch it on, see purvi's face and change the channel ... my only connection to PR is your commentary now ... its fabulous ... i would read your commentary on krishi darshan if you wrote it ... so , so much fun ... plus i love the snippets of poetry you include sometimes ...

on to the show:
... purvi is annoying ... and omnipresent ... she is everywhere and in every scene ... what si this constant purvi jaap that goes on in pr ? ...

i remember one time reading about the writers of balaji ... it was an article during kyunki days ... it said that ekta provides writers with homes (as they are mostly from out of mumbai) ... they stay there holed up for the entire day writing 20 hours a day, completely unaware of the world around them ... if this is still true, i think its showing ... what kind of office is this ? ... out of some new graduate fantasy where they dream that they will overwhelm everyone with their sheer brilliance and reign supreme ... these writers are completely out of touch with reality ... and to think that people say that to be great writers one needs to experience life not hide away in a dingy appartment scribbling away

why is sachu being demonised ? ... what is this "beta is trying to break the rishta" nonsense ? ... so now it is official, there is going to be no accounting from archana ... none whatsoever ... its all going to be sachu and savita's fault from now on ...

someone pls kidnap purvi and give sachu some screen time ... he has presence, he can act and he doesn't grate on one's nerves

Great commentary Kool, I'll be honest I fast forwarded through Arjun and Purvi's scenes because I knew where it was going. I don't see why Arjun needs to be put down to further glorify Purvi who quickly started showing her arrogance after seeing things work in her favor. Boring!
Kool, logic goes out of the window when it comes to PR. The scenes were Teju and Archana were good, much more tolerable than the glorifying of Purvi. Its a shame though that Archana can talk about her daughters yet still has failed to make any effort to reach out to them. Manav is not stopping her now nor can he if she wants to reach out to her children. Archana knows the number, call them and talk to them or ask Damodar for the address and go see them! Right now Archana has no excuse for not seeing her children, no sympathy for her.

Excellent commentary Kool Di.😊 Fantastic posts Varsha Di, umi, Kalapi, Hilly Di, taya, hbk, bips and mandy. Viram, I hope you feel better soon🤗

For the first few minutes of the show, I enjoyed it. Liked to see Arjun telling off Purvi, but after that things started going downhill. Manav and Arjun had a lack of communication with each other when it came to the presentation. The two of them should have eventually came to an agreement as they are both bosses of the company. Not good for the company if those two are on completely different pages.

Purvi irritated the most today. Totally couldn't stand seeing her evilly smirking at Arjun when Manav kept praising Purvi's work to him, Poor Arjun had to stay quiet and accept everything. Arjun was right, Purvi should have been there during the presentation, but she wasn't.

Vinay is fine, but he shouldn't be so generous to Purvi. Purvi gets all the praises from Archana, Sulochana, Manav, and Vinay while Arjun has no one on his side.

Those two businessmen that came in Arjun's office were so rude to him. They always have to show Purvi being glorified while Arjun being put down, was so irritated when the two businessmen told Arjun we are doing this deal only because of this nice girl Purvi. Purvi was showing off a bit too much to those two businessmen, she is never that kind to anyone. She just wanted to find a chance to put Arjun down.

Teju-Archu-Sulo scenes are a bit better then Purvi-Archu-Sulo scenes.

My 3 fav scenes of today's show though were when Arjun scolded Purvi, ther Manav-Sachu scene at the office, and the Savita and Ovi scene when Savita made Gajar Halwa.

The precap was so terrible. Purvi is yet again being shown as the heroine, trying to get her parents to come back together while Sachu is being painted as the villain who is trying to break up his parents. A👎🏼 to CVs for showing this, ArMan's kids are never shown to do anything good but Purvi who was raised by Sulo-Archu is always shown to shine

Hope everyone has a great weekend🤗

i think arjun will start liking purvi bc of her intelligence in business and he will compare her sanskaars to ovi and he feel that purvi is more compatable with him rather than ovi bc purvi can support him in home and in business too ovi will be shown good for nothing in front of purvi.
