I would just root more for Archana if she were done pining for Manav and thinking like a mother. I am sure with the latest track of him wanting to divorce her she will just shed more tears for him and not once fight for her children. The CVs will never have Archana grow.

So Arjun and Purvi will meet this week. Well I expected sooner or later.
After all, Ekta is hell bent on destroying Manav. Even if Arjun decides to marry Ovi because of his promise, he will be marrying out of duty, not for love, because his heart will be with Purvi. How is that fair to Ovi. So, anyway you look at it the Cvs want Ovi to suffer. What point are they trying to prove when they make Archana's daughter who had her for 20 yrs, always be on top, while the ones she brought into the world have to continue suffering? I am not saying I don't feel bad that Purvi lost her real parents, but why bring that into the mix when Archana had 4 children she was originally obligated to raise. Then make Purvi look like a better person than the other 4 children. This is really sick and twisted, and it makes you wonder about the minds of those who write such scripts.

hillydee, PR is by far Ekta's most twisted show and that is saying something. I dont know, she had a good plot which she could have worked on and this story could have been good another two years. But I think she lost her interest mid-way and left everything to her scriptwriters. I think the original scriptwriters are not working on the show anymore so the whole story looks disjointed. She destroyed the fruits of her labor.

This is one of the many reasons why I've stopped watching PR. Many times great tracks are abandoned mid-way, are dropped suddenly without reason, are dealt with terribly etc. The CV's start by giving us hope, then destroy that hope after we've been hooked.
That has happened so many times that I finally said, enough is enough 21/2 months ago.
They can never write any track that will give me hope that things will be different this time.

I agree with you. I am thinking the scriptwriters are trying to change the way female leads are normally seen. If you notice in all the other serials, correct me if I a wrong, the leads make sacrifices but they never hurt their husbands or give up on their children. This is new to me, and I can't see Pavitra Rishta in any of this.

You know what I am most surprised at that. May be the female lead might hurt her husband, but she will never...never give up her children. She will fight for them. This is the first Ekta lead that they have done with. Tulsi, Prerna,Parvati,Bani all were really good mothers.

@Taya :
You have put it so aptly, exactly what would be happening in Ekta's serial with Ekta and her Cvs as master minds.
But then still wish to see some changes , wishing atleast that someone will put sense into them...
Thats why wanted such a track for archu as I mentioned even though know that, it is not possible in Ekta maaya's shows...

@Hilly Di : agree with the last post and the post about archu and Anki...
Truly Ankita is a good actor ,she has improved a lot these days and as you said playing the victim is a easy ball for her...
and surely seeing her after the post leap(18 yrs), Now i feel even she can play the good Mom very well, she can show remorse and love...if only these cvs change for better...

Archu as a good Mom, I think its a Dream...

and your post on Ovi too agree fully...

@Mandy : again ,agree with you Mandy...Even I Am rooting for that archu only, But didnt have hope left, with the Cvs and the Ekta we know...😒...As you said, they will never allow her grow or change for better...

The cvs are not even realising that they are destroying Archana's character too, by making her daughters seem bad and her adopted daughter seem good. That surely does not make any sense. I would like to believe that if I brought a child into the world, even if I did not raise him or her, they would receive some good quality from me.
If the Cvs are trying to say Archana is a good person etc., why only make Purvi have these qualities and Ovi and Teju have nothing for her? Nuture is not the only thing that plays a role in a child's development, Nature places an important role too. Come on Cvs stop being lazy, do some research before you put pen to paper. 😔
