U know what i think guys? I think that Ekta thinks like an author, meaning that she wants to make her story HER way and characters are secondary. If this were a novel this leap would be okay. However she has to remember this is a serial on TV the and unlike novels, on tv, the cast and lead actors are most important to fans.

hi guys...long time...i just couldn't help myself & have to jump in here on this one ...orianthi, as a writer i can guarantee you Ekta is not thinking like a writer or author. An author worth her salts develops the characters and then THEY (the characters) write the rest of the novel. That is they dictate how the novel should unfold in line with the characters that are developed and what they would do or how they would act. . Sometimes, it even surprises the author, where the author might want to go one way but it would be totally out of character for the subjects. It's what defines a good writer.

As we can all see, everything this show has done is the opposite of that...most everything is totally out of character for the leads, for the storyline, ..etc. I don't think Ekta is a writer..she is just ..umm...a very mixed up & confused lady...

all the best to you guys and hope you will get your wish for Sushant & Anki to stay, however personally i feel it will just be more of the same...destroying such good actors, destroying such a nice story, (nothing there now anyway) and frustrating all it's fans. imho, it would be best for this sad and silly show to just end.

I agree with you orianthi. I think if she were writing a book and she took a leap it would be more acceptable. But her thoughts are so out of left field that she is making the story go completely haywire.
In my opinion, she should have never taken a leap but stayed in that time period. I think now the children in the show are just limiting her ideas and she think she has no other option but to make them grow up. I remember she did the exact same thing to Kasamh Se. But compared to Ram Kapoor and Gurdeep Kohli, Sushita is much younger than them and it's pretty understandable why they would not want to play the parents of 18 year old children.
I have seen her repeat some stuff from Kasamh Se in Pavira Rishta as well. For example, when Dharmesh and Madhri had to have a 2nd child to save Varun. Ekta wrote that bone marrow track in Kasamh Se as well.
At this point, I think she has run out of ideas.

aww thanks so much !! i do look in now and then, at least reading the written update and sometimes i look at the comments...but it's all a bit too frustrating ...so i don't get involved anymore. 😔 but i really appreciate and will remember the friends i made..like you !! 😊

Forget the leap, the biggest problem with Ekta is that in her shows the storylines are not continuous, she leaves them incomplete and jumps to another track leaving so many questions as to what happended to... and so on. Lets hope before she takes the leap, we will find out about where Manohar is? What happened to shibu? etc
