Archana is sitting quietly in her house cutting veggies n though her hands r doing the work, her mind is miles away. She comes back to reality on hearing her mobile phone ringing.
OMG who is calling now? Archu has started getting hysterical whenever her phone rings. She has been getting many blank calls several times a day during the past week n one day when she snapped n yelled who it was, she heard someone whispering her name at the other end n then hung up. Her blood had iced in her veins on that day n since then she has been panicking coz she is now sure that the calls she was getting was no coincidence. Someone is deliberately harassing her.
Why is Bappa testing her n her patience like this? Savita aai is feeling better n things have been improving between them n just as she has started to believe that "all will b fine now", this problem has cropped up. She is feeling very anxious and restless as if, deep inside, she is sensing a very big storm coming in her life to rip apart what she has been making with so much care n love. š
This person - malicious n vile, must surely b someone she knows n who wants to ruin her happiness n peace of mind but who can it b? She so wants to talk about it to Manav but the poor has been so busy n tensed these days with his business that she doesn't want to alarm him. The constant ringing of the phone startled her again. She looks up at the number. Oh! It is Manav! Relieved she answers:
- - Ji Manav?
- - Wat r u doing?
- - "Cutting veggies for dinner. Kyun kya hua? Kyun phone kiya?" she enquires.
- - "Well I was missing u n I wanted to hear ur sweet voice", says Manav teasingly.
- - Accha!? (Archu smiles despite herself. Manav always succeeds in making her feel good n tension free). She continues naughtily:
- - U heard me. Phone rakhu?š
- - Hey! Wait Archana. I want u to look beautiful 2nite. I'm taking u out for dinner.š
- - Kyun? Kiss khushi mein?
- - U never call me and u never miss me. I want to spend some quality time with my wife. Do u have a problem with that? Manav asks cheekily.
- - No I don't, she answers laughingly.
They hang up n Archu smiles. These days they haven't spent much time together n she has been missing these moments. It seems ages they haven't gone out n have some fun. She finds herself looking forward to it.š
Darkness has spread its tentacles in the sky n Archu is getting ready. She is in front of her mirror putting on her nose ring when Manav comes in. He is spellbound looking at her looking so ethereal in a red saree with her hair open. She raises an eyebrow n looks at him, blushes profusely n stares back at the mirror brushing her long n silky hair just to escape his blazing look which is speaking volumes of his passionate love n desire for her. He moves closer n kneels behind her. He brushes away her hair from her shoulder n runs his fingers along her slender neck staring at her in the mirror.š³ He whispers:
- - Have I ever told u that u r beautiful?
- - All the time, a naughty Archu answers.
Archana always uses naughtiness as a tactic 2 get away from Manav when she is troubled. But Manav is not to let go easilyš.
- - Yeah? N have I told u that u look beautiful in red saree?
- - Mmmmmmmmmmmm yeah, yeh bhi!, she giggles
He turns her around n pulls her towards him. He narrows his eyes n says between his teeth:
- - I'm in a romantic mood n madam is pulling my leg. Huh?
She laughs teasingly n he cups her face n looks her straight in the eyes, looking as serious as though his life depends on wat will follow next n mutters :
- - I'll never tire telling u that u r beautiful Archana n how lucky I am to have u in my life.
He kisses her tenderly. Archana closes her eyes, takes a deep breath n reopens her eyes 2 see him still staring lovingly at her.š³ She stammers:
- - D....dinner
- - "Huh? Who is hungry of pav bhaji after seeing u", he answers back mischievously.š
- - "U r impossible", she jumps on her feet but ...woops!
Manav grabs her from behind as she tries 2 run away. She wrestles 2 free herself but finally accepts defeat. She stays in his grip with her back to him. Rubbing a finger on her bare back, he starts naughtily:
- - I think it's high time I start working hard to get a cute little Archana in our home coz this grown up Archana is just neglecting me.
Archu turns her head sideways n looks at him with a cute confused expression.
- - Matlab?
- - Mmmmmmmmmmmm, matlab yeh madam, it's time to make one cute baby Archu.
- - Manav!
- - Don't u want our baby Archana?
A shy Archana turns to him n snuggles in his arms. Manav lifts up her face n asks her again:
- - Don't u think it's high time 4 us 2 have a cute little girl 2 fill our life with much more happiness n 2 play with?
Archu blushes n smiles shyly. Manav with a cheeky smile concludes victoriously:š
- - This means u want it too. Good! It will take time to make a little darling like u. Let's skip pav bhaji 2nite n starts working. We have all nite for us.
He lifts a laughing Archana up n starts excitedly:
- -- I want her 2 be exactly like u, same eyes, and same cute little nose n this million dollar smile which makes my heart goes dhak dhak dhak.
- - Mein aap ko bahut achi lagti houn na?, asks a childishly cute Archu
- - Yeah but'
- -- But kya?
- - Ek kami hain that I wudn't like my girl 2 have.
Archana's eyes pop out n then narrow. She asks:
- - Kya?
- - Well...My girl shud not b a tube light like u.
He laughs out aloud seeing her shocked expression, cuddles her sulking wife n moves with her in his arms towards their cot, both looking meaningfully at each other, with a nite full of promisesšš, unaware that Archana's phone is ringing on the table since it is on silent mode.
