Thats really STUPID of CVS coz viewers had LOVED him , especially female population . I will try and suggest to bring him back but I dONT THINK THEY WILL . Hes gone for good .

I am also very upset about jaywant's going away .Jaywant 's track had so much potential ..Last time I read comments from Sushant and he was thanking the viewers for the current ratings ...he also said that the show is doign well due to the tracks of Varsha and vaishali and said that good things will be happening in Manav's life ..

I had read somewhere that the Cvs of the show have a meeting every 3 months ( or maybe 6 months , I cannot remember ) where even Ekta is present and they all sort of determine the outline of the future tracks and the way the characters will be looking ...

Then after that the story is adjusted according to daily TRPs ( minor adjustments ) ...

I think in this meeting it must have been decided that jaywant will be gone abroad and Manav will do well financially and also that Varsha and vaishali will have have marital problems ..

If the ratings come down drastically then they immediately take another course of action but as long as the ratings are good or even reasonable , they stay with the track ..

I am more of a silent observer because I refuse to waste my time debating with people who refuse to see the flaws of their favorites. In several cases, the forums are more interesting and entertaining than the soaps, so I sit back and enjoy silently when I am bored. maybe jaywant will come back, as manav is more successful. and if he is making a deal with a company, maybe it'll be jay's?

but really two characters (dharmu and jay) beautifully sketched, are thrown to the dogs.

i would have loved to see jaywant take advantage of dharmesh, strip him, and then see dharmesh deal with those situations.

i would ahve loved to see the clash of mahan manav and pratical dharmesh (NOT like the bigamy, which is asinine).

really good plots are being ruined due to sheer stupidity of the CVs and their desire to cash on Arman's popularity.

the popularity is audience made. the cvs are getting away with sheer Bull shit due to JDJ and various stage shows, interviews by sushita.

i hope this nonsense doesnt continue post JDJ and things get back on track

That will be wonderful . I too come only for the diverse minds here ..........see the youngsters , niki , tiya , toothbrush , sid .............all intelligent opinions . Diffrent perspectives . Same with the elder lot . More than PR , we discuss on perspectives of various issues actually ........Pr is an excuse . My thread is not generally fan based at all , we all actually thrash the story .😆😆😆😆

in kools thread, i think you'll find like minded people who critique the story based on what they see. i LOVE arman, but i am up for calling spade a spade. and your comments are interesting and give the discussion a new direction! so why not??? and kools commentary is HILARIOUS. i usually sit in class and read it, while some prof is droning on!😆😃

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I don't "love" any actor and not a fan of anybody. But its refreshing to see a forum that is willing to be unbiased about any characters and do not shy from discussing the flaws of their favorites. By the way, as you may already have guessed, I am Sowmya, in my early twenties, and am currently doing PhD in the USA. But I spent the first 21 years of my life in India and grew up on a staple of Hindi, tamil, telugu serials and movies. After coming here, I have started watching English sitcoms and amazed at the creativity of these people. I wish some of our people back home come up with some new ideas and that they get support from the public when they do. We have a wealth of culture to draw from, but nobody uses it.

tiya if ur not careful one day the prof will ASK u something and u may just GIGGLE in answer , thinking of my latest on Batatwada😆 , btw wats latest in jhagdalu forum .All must be dancing coz Sshant proposed .Lots of AAAh OOOh .😆 .. Personally i prefer private proposals .Its a little melodramatic isnt it .

Sowmya some of the serials in the eighties etc ........like Udaan , Lifeline etc were VERY intelligent . Sai Paranjpe , Kavita Chaudhary etc as directors . I really dont know WHAT happened when Ekta came ...........The TRP nonsense started and quality got lOST .Saas BHi Kabhi bahu thi changed EVERYTHINg .

Which English sitcoms u watch .
