the article was abt shekhar so they didn't put him in the list. so either it is 12 contestants or there is a mysterious 13th.

Judges: Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora Khan and Remo D'Souza
Contestants: Shekhar Suman, Renuka Shahane, Akhil Kumar, Sushant Singh Rajput, Ankita Lokhande, Yana Gupta, Anushka Manchanda, Ragini Khanna, Krushna Abhishek, Daya Shetty, Mahhi Vij and Meiyang Chang.
Launch date:12th December, a bi-weekly
Format: Each celebrity teams up with a choreographer and will perform at different stages of the show to win the coveted title of the best dancer on the show.

Cant wait for Dec 12th!

These past months are definetely lucky for both Anki and Sushant....ITA awards...Zee rishtey...and JDJ!

And its going to be such a big competitin between the contestants....but im all the way supporting SUSHITA ...whoever wins out of the both is finnee :D

yeah Anu just switch on sony nd wait fr breaks...i'm s'ly high on dem...<333 i think its the 1st promo ive seen where dey revealed contestants including dere names lke sushant aapka manav etc.in montage also dey both were next to each other...

12 Stars along with 3 celebrity judges and 2 hosts unleashed for Sony's Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa

The Indian version of Dancing with the Stars, "Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa" is ready to kick start the journey of its 4^th season on Sony entertainment television from 12^th December. A premier episode will be aired on this day where all the 12 participating contestants will be introduced by ex-Jhalak stars and some of the big names from the entertainment industry.

Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa

Few names who will be join Jhalak team on 12^th December will be Sholay star Dharmendra, his ex-wife along with her daughter Hema Malini and Esha Deol, Band Baaja Baarat star Anushka Sharma, Bidaai famed Parul Chauhan (Ragini) and Kinshuk Mahajan (Ranvir). This mega introduction of the stars will be followed by 1^st competition episode on 13^th December.

The 12 famous stars participating in this show are:

Boxer and Arjuna Award winner – Akhil Kumar

Viva girl and MTV vj – Anushka Manchanda

Hot and Sizzling Babuji girl – Yana Gupta

Actor and comedy judge – Shekhar Suman

Suhana of Sasural Genda phool – Ragini Khanna

Nakusha of laagi tujhse Lagan – Maahi Vij

Comedian and actor – Krushna Abhishek

Yes Sony has kept the 12^th man under wraps who will be introduced only on 12^th December 9.00 pm.

Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 4

This time the contestants will face the challenges of both Indian and western style of dancing. Amongst the Indian they will be performing on Street Dancing, Swinging 60s, Disco 70s and Superstar special to name a few. Western category will comprise of Shadow dancing, Blindfold, rope acts and mid-air dancing.

The three judges are Dancing Diva Madhuri Dixit, electrifying item girl Malaika Arora Khan and Master choreographer Remo D'souza. All three of them are experts in their respective fields and have sweared not to make it easy for the contestants.

Mona Singh erstwhile Jassi and actor Sumeet Raghavan are the hosts of the show who promise the viewers the best of entertainment along with encouraging the contestants.

The show claims to be better than all the three past seasons. According to the producers, the show will be a wholesome and clean entertainment which will encourage family viewing. BBC productions are the producers of the show.

Let's hope that the show really lives up to the new benchmarks it has set in terms of innovation and creativity. Only time will tell whether the show will be a success or not.
