Arey thats what I'm saying Gauri, that Manav understood Jay's jealousy. A jealous person is not necessarily bad, this toh you agree na? So why would Manav ask Archu to break off marriage with Archu. JEalousy can be overcome with better communication and care. As we were all discussing, Jay could have been a good husband if this jealousy thing hadn't been there. So this means Manav thinks that Jay can be a good person if his jealousy is contained and his hurt ego is slowly stroked back. He has been hurt very badly. He hasn't really put Manav in jail too, he is making use of the situation to make him stay there.
Besides, this is the only time Jay has ever been bad. Apart from this, he has always been very good. So only on the consideration of Jay's jealousy, why should Manav ask Archu to break away?
Totally agree. I don't see Jay as being an "evil" character. On the contrary, i see his antics as providing great potential for any relationship he and Archu might ultimetly have. This cold, pragmatic man, is being driven to jelousy and anger. Archu has gotten a RISE out of him. She has arisen FEELING in him. 👏
And I also dont see why Manav WOULD ask Archu to break relationship.
Yes, it would make sense, for the sake of Archu's happieness if he did. But Manav's goal isnt Archu's happiness. He should ask her. But he won't. IT would be outside his character.
I honestly beleive, that no matter what happens...even when it is revealed that Jay helped to frame Manav, --Manav wont ask Archu to break relationship. He will instead work out a strange trajectory of logic. He will say something like--Jay is a man, and insaan (blah blah blah)...we hurt him...and so on and so forth. He will explain away Jay's actions just to get Archu out of his (and his family's) lives...
