30^th August
-Manav tells aai about how he had to convince Archu into remarrying but he couldn't
-Sav aai goes to archus house and in her own way she is telling archu to move on in life
-Sav aai leaves archus home and archu tells Sul aai she wont remarry
-Ajist says he wants RA to change and it would have been nice if she had made his tiffin
-ArMan are talking about archus remarriage
-Dharmesh, Satish, Vershu, Vaishu are talking to archu about marriage and archu says she cant marry someone else until manav isn't removed from her heart'jaywant overhears
-Sav aai tells Manav she told archu what manav should have told her about remarriage

31^st August
-Archu tells jaywant no to take this marriage talk too seriously because she isn't ready
-Manav tells archu that if she doesn't marry jawyant then wont marry shrav
-Dharmens has invited all employee for jamnashtmi at his house
-Vaishu says we haven't for a baby Krishna and archu says there is sachin
-Dharmesh asks manav if they can use sachin as baby Krishna, manav says yes
-Ajit gets into a fight with a guy who threw water balloon at vandu
-Girish asks manav if he wants the wedding done this week or after 20 days?

1^st September
-Sav aair and manav are happy that ajit is protecting vandu
-Dharmesh introduces sul to jaywants parents and sul aai is impressed
-Archu and vaishu take sachu to get him dressed
-Shrav and archu swing the swing together...Dam Baba says to manave that devki and yashoda are swinging the swing
-Archu tells SUl aai she is not marryng...archu tells jaywant the same
-Archu gets a bad dream of manav falling of the pyramid
-Manav is happy and climbs the pyramid and breaks the dahi handi
-Archu sees this and she is happy that manav is happy with his family

2^nd September
-Manav tells his family about the condition he gave to archu and shrav is not happy
-Dam abba agrees with Shrav
-Vandu gets RA to fix the water problem they have in the chawl by going to the human rights community
-Shrav tells archu that i feel like draupadi..the pandavs put her life at stake in a game and manav is doing the same
-Archu tells jaywant that she is ready to marry him
-Archu tells manav to meet him
-They both meet on a road...archu hugs him and says she has agreed to marry jaywant
-Archu tells him to fulfill his duties and she will fulfill hers
-Archu leaves and manav reminses about ArMan

3^rd September
-Archu tells aai that she is ready for marriage
-Aai calls SaSha and Vaishu/Dharmes to her house to give them the good news
-Jaywants parents come to archu house the next day to fix the marrige...satish sees that archu isnt happy
-Ajit finds out about the marriage and tries to make archu understand
-Manav tells jaywant to look after archu
-Archu gives manav two conditions, 1. to marry before she does 2. manav to do archus bidaai
-Manav rejects initially but then accepts the condition

6^th September
-The chawl women praise RA for fixing the water problem
-Ajits vows to bring ArMan back together
-Dam Baba is drunk and ajit sees him..they both want ArMan to reunite
-BA wants SaSha to have a child but vershy says in a year or two
-Dharmesh is planning to fo a hugs Ganesh Utsav
-Jaywants takes archu out for dinner and Manav and shrav are there too
-Jaywants parents and arhus parents decide to do the engagement tomorrow
-Girish and Sav aai says they will start the wedding preps
-Archu is crying and vershi and aai console her

7^th September
-Manav and aai share a sweet moment
-Ajit and baba try to make ArMan realise that they are making a mistake but fail
-Satish is not happy about the engagement
-Sav aai and Sul aai meet at a saari shop and sav aai asks sul aai to give a saari to archu as a wedding gift
-BA find out that vershu is using pills to prevent pregnancy
-BA confronts vershu and says she is making a mistake
-Shrav gives manav their wedding card and tells him to put it in the mandir
-ArMan have a mandhir date and archu invited him to her engagement

8^th September
-Manav says he will come to the engagement and archu says she will go to his wedding
-Manav asks dharmesh to take a half-day so he can go to archus engagement..
-Manav tells his family that he is going to archus engagement to support her and shrac will come with me
-Manju and Vinod come to invite ajit/vandu/RA to archus engagement
-Aai is mad that vaishu has to jo to jodhpur for a wedding on dharmeshs side of the family
-Archu says she is going to invite the deshmukhs to her engagement
-Archu gives sharc the responsibility of bringing the deshmukhs to her engagement
-Shrav tells sav aai that they will all go to the engagement

9^th September
-Archu and Manju have a deep conversation about looking after aai...manju says she will look after aai when archu is gone
-RA is praising vandu to BA and BA is suprised that RA is complementing her DIL
-Vandu is talking to archu and asks why bappa punish's ArMan
-Vershu and Vandu bring archu into the living room to start the engagement
-Half way through the ceremony, the deshmukhs arrive
-Dharmes isnt happy that manav is here and satish makes him understand
-Jaywants mum and Sav aai have an emotional convo and sav is praising her for getting archu as a DIL
-Archu still has her wedding ring on and sul aai takes it off

Dialogue Male and Female of the Fortnight

Main apne dil ke haaton majboor hoon, aur mere dil me sirf aur sirf manav hain! Aur jab tak woh dil mein hain, main unki yeh jagah kisi ko nahi de sakti - Archana

It is always a treat to hear dialogues that convey Archana and Manav's emotions, especially when they are dialogues like these that are filled with love and devotion for each other. In the midst of so much pressure from everyone around her, I was absolutely glad that Archana voiced her inner feelings! No matter whom she marries, or where she goes in life, Manav will always remain the love of her life, and there is no changing that' so I give Archana kudos for atleast trying to make her family see eye to eye with her.

Ey, dekha Bappa, jho ajit mujhe pila pilakar mera tamasha banae wala tha, woh hi aaaj mujhe keh raha hain, baaba, daroo mat piyo. Bappa agar yeh chamatkar mumkin hain, tho un dono ki shaadi doosro ke saat kaise ho sakti hain - Damodar Baba

This dialogue, I COMPLETELY agree with! (giggle). If Ajit can take such a turn about in his behaviors, then there should be no reason why Bappa should not allow Manav and Archana to be together. Ajit, who was such a rotten apple, gets a second chance, so why shouldn't Manav and Archana, (who have no fault in any of this) get one too? If Bappa gives Manav and Archana another chance, it will on reinforce peoples faith in love and goodness, something that in the midst of all the mishaps, would be a very welcomed by everyone!

ArMan Sequence of the Fortnight

Although this doesn't really constitute for an ArMan moment, it's the best we got'so the scene that takes this place this fortnight is the one between Manav and Archana after Archana has told Jaiwant that she is ready to marry him. The hug between them was one of hopelessness and despair, a moment they shared with each other and something no one else would understand. Archana knew she could depend on Manav whenever she needed him, and he would always be there for her. Their hug was one of comfort and solace, one that may have given each other the strength to move on, to live on, and possibly, love on!

Mr. and Ms. Head Turner [Style Icon] of the Fortnight

Mr. Head Turner : This was a little hard to choose since Manav, Satish and Jaiwant looked equally good this fortnight. But after a lot of deliberation (giggle), I have decided to give this spot to MANAV! The smooth, mellow yellow was definitely different from all the colors he has worn lately, and he looked every so handsome in it. Jaiwant also pulled off the yellow kurta in quite some style!

Ms. Head Turner : This fortnight, Vaishali and Vandu take the cake. Vaishali looked stunning in both, her blue and green sarees and Vandu looked just as beautiful in the blue saree she wore to Archana's engagement. Speaking of engagement, Archana looked absolutely beautiful in the second saree she wore on her engagement. The dark torquise color was different from most colors at the engagement ceremony, so she did stand out too.

This fortnight, like most of the ones we have had recently was quite slow with nothing much to look forward to. Almost every other scene had Archana crying over her destiny, which honestly, was quite disappointing. If Archana disagreed so much with her fate, then she should have fought back, but instead, as always, she took it in, and merely shed tears upon it. The only saving grace, if any at all, was Satish's character' he has been the only one throughout this whole course who has really understood Archana and Manav and what they want for each other. I was disappointed in Vaishali and Varsha this fortnight. The two girls who had wished and hoped and plotted so many times to bring ArMan together, lost hope this fortnight, and it was disheartening to watch' if Archana's most loyal supporters give up, who is she going to lean on? Manav this week was little bit of a refreshment this fortnight when he stood up to Shravini and asked her if she had forgotten Sachin. Overall, this was a quite a sluggish fortnight ' there has been no real progression over the last two weeks, and I would really like to see so much more from the creatives!

Rating - 1.5/5 - one point for Satish, and a half for Manav!

Expectations for next Fortnight

Since the past fortnight has been quite slow, we can expect quite a bit from the next one. For one, we'd love to see an end to the ArMan separation for once and for all' I'm sure we'd all also like to see Jaiwant and Shravini (who have taken the third angle in this story) completely removed from the picture! It would be such a relief if Manav and Archana stop being so mahan, and think for themselves instead of their "responsibilities". There is nothing that is tying these two down besides themselves, so it would be refreshing to watch them break away from their "majbooris". It will be interesting to watch what Ajit and Baba come up with to stop these two marriages, and what kind of a turn Rasika Ai will take in the future. We can only hope that this next fortnight will be better than the last.

1.) How did you come across I-F? How has your journey been uptil now?
I was looking for video links to PR and found this site where Aarti's WU were posted and for the first few days all I did was checked the WU's then I noticed Kool's Commentary and I checked it out and start ROFL. It began there and here I am still ROFL. This was my first forum ever and while there's a first for everything, only the lucky ones are blessed with a pleasant and memorable first experience. That's what PR forum has been for me, an exclusive club that I am privileged to be part of, one that keeps adding new, interesting and diverse members that can debate and discuss the most minor to the most private life-altering events in a light hearted inclusive and congenial manner. My home away from home. Wish I could spend more time in this second home but that's a wish for another day. For today my wish is that I never lose touch with each one of you who has welcomed me with love and open arms

2.) What was the first thing that hooked you to Pavitra Rishta?
Manav. I know, I am shameless. The very first epi I saw of PR was Manav putting the blanket on Archu when she is home that first night and sleeping in the kitchen and his neighbour asks him that vahini is back. I did not know the story before that but that scene was so heart-warming. He did it so lovingly and protectively. I could not understand why she was sleeping there or what their relation was (until the neighbour asked) but he seemed so considerate that the scene and the gesture really got to me. I was very curios to know why a woman whose husband treats her so lovingly (even when she was not aware of it) was sleeping in another room. So I watched the next and then the next and then I was hooked. Also Manav (played by Sushant) seemed to be a bundle of emotions then ' vulnerable, caring yet very angry yet also very much in love with his wife. A combination that was hard to resist.

3.) What were your expectations from the show? To what extent have they been fulfilled?
That their relationship would continue like that of a typical married couple with issues and attitude but also with tender moments interspersed somewhere within. The divorce, their mahaanta and the surreal end of their relationship was as disengaging as that first Manav scene was engaging. I am currently on the sub zero end of the rating and appreciation scale.

4.) Which is the quality of Archana and Manav that you most admire?
Ok I am going to answer this as Old Archana and Old Manav ' her caring nature and his shyness and protectiveness.

5.) Which qualities of the duo do you utterly dislike?
Mahaanta and their illogical Red Cross attitude

6.) Now that the divorce has finally taken place, what makes you still follow PR?
You guys. Its like being in a book club that you love. You don't like their choice of books anymore but you still love the opportunity to hang out and debate as a devil's advocate for the fun of it.

7.) Which is the best thing about PR forum that makes you keep coming back for more?
Same as above

8.) If you had to plan your entry into PR as a new character what would it be?
A boy opposite Archu. The show has nothing else that can be interesting.

9.) Since you write so well, if you had to write a book, on what would it be?
Life In India ' The heart in every home, every gaali and every breathe we take together

10.) In which type of roles do you wish to see Sushant and Ankita in the future?
Sushant does dramatic roles very well (even though he does not seem to enjoy them as much). Even roles where he plays a modern day politician or someone strategic and powerful maybe. All this on big screen not small screen.
Ankita does light hearted and even women's libber roles well I guess (she is not very effective in her dramatic enactment. Her performance seems to be more grating than engaging)

11.) Which other shows do you watch regularly? Who are your other favourite actors in Tellyland?
If I told you the other Indian show I watch you will guess who this is in a heartbeat and the actor is from the same show. So an English drama that I watch is Law and Order ' SVU. Love the male inspector though cannot remember the actor's name

12.) Which was your happiest moment/day in I-F?
There are so many happy moments. Difficult to note. A recent one was when I got a thread dedicated to me by someone really special. Guesses anyone??

13.) Any message for Ekta?
You've come this far and learnt so little, what a waste of God given talent and potential.

14.) What are your ways of chilling out?
Chatting on this forum, dancing, going on a date with my other half and reading books. Kids are too small so when I hang out with them it is less chilling and more monitoring. When they grow older, chilling might be an option (depends on their liking for vintage stuff)

15.) Any message to your friends on I-F?
Each one of you is talented and intelligent and special to me. Stay that way and Enjoy Life. Its brief and 2012 is around the corner.

16.) Since a lot of people have respect for your opinions, any advice to the younger lot out here in I-F?
Look for balance, passion and commitment in anything you do with a firm belief in yourself and an even bigger belief in Him
