Manav is not a man. He stands there while Archana is willing to marry someone whom she does not love. If you love someone, stand up for your love. There are principles involved here
a) Marrying someone whom you do not love
b) Allowing someone to marry someone they do not love but loves you
How do these values under value the following
a) Marrying someone who has s*x outside of wedlock with your brother because she threw a temper tantrum and might not let your family see the kid or that her dad was rich and you borrowed money from him?
Sorry guys, but Manav does not come off a hero here. He is not a man of principles because he has committed a grievious mistake by undermining two very important principles.
Shakespeare said something about being true to thine ownself. Manav needs to be true to himself otherwise he is doing wrong to Shavani and Archana and that guy Jaywant.
I am not sure why this show is hellbent on promoting sacrificial qualities as something to live by. It's a common trait in all desi drams and its getting very redundant. Ultimately it does tremendous damage and is actually a form of self-righteousness of the worst kind.

In the old episodes of PR, Manav used to be a man he was never like this but with the new writers come a completely different Manav. The old Manav would have never done this, the only person I've seen him do wrong to is Archana.
