I looked at Manav Shravani and Archu post leap. from the very first epi Archana was tellings strangers on the train that she was married, had a child and had a sasural in maike. she inquired about manav the moment she came back, she went down to the facotry floor the moment she realized he worked there,
I don't know if she enquired about Manav the moment she came back? ( hvn't seen all epi) Manav had come to her cabin to apply for leave and Jaywant spoke rudely to him in front of Archana, Archana felt bad about it and and that she was his boss. I think she wanted to let Manav know that she was not aware that Manav worked there as well. Also Archana wanted to leave that job, she was not rejoiced at thought that she will be at close proximity with Manav every day.
she keeps reminding manav about how she has been misplaced in his life and so on and so forth.this is not the behaviour of someone who has moved on or made peace with their fate, this is the reflections and behaviour of someone who is fighting thier reality, is unable to resign or concede their predicament and someone who has to live on delusions and dreams to fill a gaping void.
I am not saying manav is better than her. both are fools. yet manav is trying and archu is not THOUGH both made the same commitment several times to shravani. Manav has moved on.
If Manav has moved on why he was being a bawarchi at Vaishu's wedding, stayed back to cook while Shravani went hoarse asking him to come back. Why he is having eye-locks with Archana when he is committed to Shravani. Why stand there and enjoy Archana's hair on his face. Why display so much passion if anything is said against Archana? Why did he stop in front of Archana's house everytime he passed from there? Why talk of Vaishu as his sister-in-law? Manav has not moved on either but its just that he has to be more in control as he is committed to Shravani. But when Shravani is not watching him he allows himself to waver too.
Archu is in a state of limbo and she is content with this state of limbo as it keeps her in touch with her memories of a life gone by.
I didn't say she had moved on but I don't see her suffering either. Even in her dreams (which we know we cannot control) she thought about Shravani when she was with Manav.
this is not the behaviour of a person who is content and has moved on - this is the behaviour of someone who is miserable, suffering silently from within while maintaining a tough exterior and still hoping subconciously for some sort of miracle which will make this reality seem like a bad dream when she awakes.
Don't agree that Archana is subconsciously hoping for a miracle that will make her come back in Manav's life. Archana had more than one chance, everyone was in her favour but she chose to do what her conscience allowed her to do. After Shravani asked Archana to leave her job, when Archana was climbing steps to her home, she said that Archana and Manav are not meant to be togather or something like that.
their solution while beign noble and charibtable is not philantrophic because it has made them btoh miserable, made their families stressed and has failed abysmally to console the beneficiary of their so called philantrophic gesture. Agreed
they need to stop duping themselves and just be selfish. honestly, I will find that more umderstandable, more palatable and selfish as it may seem it is a win-win situation in the long term for 4 lives and 3 familiies. Agreed.
