Manav is subconsciously two-timing.

The situation is so complicated that he sees no solution.

Most of the times he gets blasted for his escapist nature....he has to stand up...they have ruined his character the most.

I saw the episode just now . Clearly Manav is going ahead with his promise because of Girish Ji , that\ is why he said ' my hands are tied so I cannot help you'. Today he was very embaressed when Shravani sat next to him in the auto .

He is a weak guy , that it . I guess he does love Archu a lot but at the back of his mind he knows he cannot mess up with Girish Ji or his family will be in trouble .

He just wants to show Archu is whatver way that he can be allowed , that I do care and you will always be special...

I don't know what will stop the divorce ...I see no way out .

Pre cap very interesting ,,Manav has been treating Shravani so well and look what's happening , his dear fiance is now mistrusting him only haha ...good ...hope she gives him a hard time.

As far as Shravni being selfish is concerned ..........almost ALL the characters in PR r selfish only . Varsha has married Satish not to give him happiness but to give her mom and dad happiness , Manohar fell in love with Manav after his 3 lacs problem was solved ........initially inspite of Manav saving him from suicide , he had cast doubts on Manavs character , Savita STILL wants Shravni as bahu only coz she wants Sachins nishaani and does not hesitate to sacrifice her living sons Life for it , Manav is throwing Archu away inspite of knowing she was innocent after all only to please HIS Family and is not giving a thought as to HOw Archu will live after the divorce considering how devotedly she is in love with him .

So who isn't selfish and why the big deal about Shravnis selfishness ?

Very true.

Whether he had family obligations or the situation was bad,he shouldnt have made the decision so hastily without consulting anyone.

He could have assured girishji that after my divorce goes through,I'll marry ur daughter.

There should have been a 'if' in his promise,which went missing,thanks to his impulsive decision.Such life-altering promises shouldnt be made within minutes, as Manav did.

Sorry. I dont agree with you all. This is not the time when Manav should say no to divorce. Whats mistake of shravani? Everyone has made mistake. Archana for not trusting Manav and Manav for giving promise of marriage to shravani.but what sv has done ?she got pregnant before marriage but they give her words that manav will marry her. Then how can he dump her withou any mistake ? That would be very very very very in fact most of all wrong things by now. So let her do something wrong, then only manav should stand for archana but not NOW.

Hmm.. I dont know about his helplessness. Why is Shravani's situation so much worse than Archana's? What happens to Archana after the divorce? She is uneducated and her parents are not financially strong. In addition, as a divorcee she really has no future. On the other hand, Shravani as a single mom in someplace like the US is not an oddity. In addition, with her dad's money and her exposure, she may actually find a decent guy who can appreciate her inspite of being a mom. Its ridiculous that an educated rich girl needs rescuing by an unemployed much married mechanic. Also, why is his commitment to Shravani greater than that to Archana? People change , feelings change.

As for Archana, I am not sure how she is helping him or anyone. Apart from cooking and being his friend, how is she really helping? She is another Tarun in his life. She could as well be out of that house and not having to listen to the rubbish that she has. Her nature is completely self sacrificing to the point of being ridiculous. Is it wrong for a woman to think about herself - does she serve only as a tool to help the man? You were not too straightforward or rude. All comments are welcome.
