If Manav had to buy something,he should have asked baba to wait for him in the bank and not come outside till he's there...I found both of them quite a bit foolish...3 lakhs means so much to them n yet they take no precautions against robbery.

dropped in briefly. BTW. Will get mor einto thsi at night time once chores are done.

guys hate to say this. My dad is one of the most sensible men I have met. He is 80 now. When he was 72, he was robbed inexactly this manner of Rs. 80K when he walked out of the neighbourhood bank.

tehy never foundthe robbers. he refused to tell anyone outside family becasue he knew they would laugh at his him and accuse him of beign naive. I felt so horribel for him that day. We as a family still don't bring it up in front of him. I still do not remember why he was taking out the money in cash and not using a check. BTW, this cash business happens a lot in regular business in Inida. I have seen it happening. There is a huge parallel economy. even houses are sold with some black and some white money i.e. black means cash and white means cheque or traceable money and the registration fee is based on the whit eamount as it is the only amount that appears on the deed.

Omg Kool, your commentary is so damn hilarious, I can't stop laughing! 🤣 And it's not very appropriate, as I'm at work. 😆

It's nice to know Girishji is still alive. I had my doubts. Geez, what the heck is wrong w/ Manav? Why would he call him for money? Wasn't Tarun available for some last minute money? I'm so mad at him for his idiocy! His sasur is no better...walking around w/ 3 laks like he's strolling in the park! Why are the men on PR so stupid?
I haven't watched the show yet, this is just based on the recap, but after I do, I'm sure I'll be even more frustrated at today's events. 😕

totally agreed with hope

my mother in law was walking on the road when two guys came exactly this way by bike , slowed down near her , hit her hard on the back .Naturally she turned around , and the moment she did it , he yanked her gold chain around her neck and pushed her so hard she fell on the ground and they sped away .All in a matter of minutes .At 11 in the mid morning time in a busy lane right outside our house . Mumbai very unsafe . These robbers wear simple decent attire and hover in banks , keeping an eye on who withdraws large amounts

ladies i am NOT hiding...well..from tanya and gauri at least..shh..
kools great commentary as usual u just keep getting better and better...
boy i would just love to have friends and acquaintances like manav...he is the only guy i know who is broke and could get loans and credits so easily...just by one phone call too...

i must say all archu's pistons have been firing lately...not one missing...she actually thought to ask vandu the reason behind her MIL sending her to her home for sometime...wow archu, one more strike for you

i have never seen 5 days taking so long to be over, what is it like two weeks now? these creatives are just dragging this wedding storyline..

i must say archu blew me away in the precap, she looked sooo beautiful..can u imagine manav seeing that beauty and looking on the other side and seeing choo..he would probably be cursing himself for making that kinda promise of marrying choo...the guy heart would be skipping beats...now we know the reason behind all that dancing for the wedding...he was excited..he probably felt like he drank 10 red bulls.

okay going to stop now this is way more than one line, i am getting an anxiety attack, backing off now.. 😆

Satish
Vinod/Manjusha
Vandu/Ajit (yes, I'm serious)
I'm furious he went to Girishji! He is forever indebted to him and his daughter...I hate that! 😡

Yes Kool di and Hope: I knw that such things do happen in Mumbai. But wot I wanted to say was they shud hav opted for safer means like cheques for making payments. property dealing do involve black and white money, but thats different from marraige.

robbers in mumbai are bold. they form in groups. have the cops in their pockets (unfortunate but true). My mom was robbed o fgold bangles when she was returning by train from a weddign reception one evening. her right wrist was cut to get the bangles. she had to have surgery, physioteharpy to get use of her fingers. she and we never ever wore gold openly in public after that. my MIL and family is same way. in fact if you remeember in begininng epis, sulo made all girls remove jewellery when they boarded train for ajit's wedding.

very very realistic for bombay. Roberry, begging, pimping are major organizaed professions in bombay. theya re as sophisticated as the dhabawallas who got certified six sigma. guys we are over a billion people, most of htem in bombay. you cannot rely on a decent job for livelihood always. many misguided people or people from extremely poor backgrounds rely on these underhanded means to collect money. I do not condone it but understand it. cops are paid a pittance and so I can also understand theri corruption.

BTW, my mom told me about his lady who was robbed when travelling by train. turns out the jewllery was fake. the guys came back the next day, found her on her regular train back home, flung it in her face and told her next time don't waste ou time wearing fake stuff or we will kill you. they are that bold. I am not sure if this was exaggerated to give us the desired sense of alarma ndacaution by mom but I know that these negative elements in mumbai are bold, sophisticated, organized and to be feared for sure. gangs runnign with swords, contract killings in broad daylight. Mumbai is fun but not for the faint hearted. there is another side of our beloved city. this is the reason mumbaikars were not defeated by the bombings of taj and recovered so quickly from the shock and terror. it's life. one has to live. you take every terror as it comes and live day by day. the most practical way to face life. AAMchi mumbai is the Best. Hai na, Kool?> I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MUMBAI
