If he bends towards Archu, people say he is a chauvinist. giving the girl false expectations when he is divorcing her in 18 days. They say he does not care about Shravani's sentiments- especially in this condition.

Either way he gets blasted- rightfully!

So you see he is the most helpless character in the show- they way the creatives portray it- he just CANNOT walk out of his commitment to Shravani is what they want to show. So I used that word- helplessness- wanting to do something but still not able to do it.

Where my personal opinion is concerned- HE HAS NO SPINE- THAT IS IT!!! I CAN UNDERSTAND HIS DILEMMA- BUT HE DOESN'T EVEN WANT TO SIT AND THINK FOR GOD'S SAKE!!! HE WILL COMMIT BIGAMY AND ALL THAT CRAP BUT NOT SIT DOWN FOR TWO MINUTES TO ANALYZE HIS LIFE!!! and so his helplessness is fast losing my support.

I am a Manav fan. try as I do I cannot despise the guy enough to every join a Manav hate club. i am her for the charachter not the actor. Imagine my daily disappointment these days, eh? I use to like Archu as part of ArMan in the early days of serial. I got unbelieveable disillusioned by her charachter when she refused to talk to her husband - a man whose character had repeatedly indicated that such bad behaviour as he was being accused of was incompatible with his charachter or actions. Sorry 20 day bride or not her refusal to hear him out after his repeated attempts was inexcusable for me. I stopped liking her charachter then and felt his anger was justified.

I think he has landed himself in a S***hole and the thing that irks me the most is exactly what you have been saying that he is spineless. he got himself into this mess well get yourself out of it.

I agree that Sav aai has been misleading choo with the constant references to this love that Manav ahs for her. Choo's hormaones have allowed her to believe this crap and run with it and create this unnecessary castles in the air. I believe that Manav on the other hand has not mislead her. The only reason he did sindoor and engagement was because they were rituals that went with the commitment he had already made. he has not once told her that he loves her or used a loving tone or allowed her to touch him or anything that would suggest that he is physically or emotionally in love with her. he has not betrayed his wife in that manner. everytime she says she loves him he says I do not want to talk about it and he has also reminder her several times that I already told you why I am doing this in the hospital. he has never tried to spin his decision or commitment any other way. he cannot be held responsible for the delusional ponderings of some pshycotic girl. I disagree with kool there. Sav mislead her. Manav's mistake was not misleading choo but not correcting his mom when she mislead choo in front of him. if anything the only thing he is guilty of doing which can be percieved as being unfair to Archu) is being silent hoping the problem will resolve itself when the three months are up. Again silly idiot is what i have to say here.

I still think divorce will go through because he is constantly silent where he should be more vocal and expressive. notice however, how he is afraid of upsetting his mom. he was smiling at the sangeet, when he saw her face upset he lost that smile. he was marrying choo because he was extremelyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy angry at his wife before. now he is doing it because he does nto want his mom to be unhappy after losign sachina nd vandu. silly idiot again. the woman will be unhappy no matter what. it is in her genes.


wow that was a long post. I guess i had to let some things out. A very experienced uncle of my husbands said to us once (when he encountered this situation with his moma nd wife) you cannot make everyone happy all the time. you can try but the end result in these scenarios is everyone ends up unhappy when you try to accomodate everyone. so he picked his wife's happiness and guess what his wife got happier, mom realized he is no longer under her pallu and now they are all living with some measure of tolerance and peace.

Kool's, like i mentioned it is not the act of doing wrong, in shravani's case having unprotected sex and getting pregnant that is bugging me....it is the act of being ungrateful and unremorseful when u know u did something wrong and dont give a damn...and if u wanna be exact...archana, sav aai and vandu all did wrong things...now in some way or the other they are showing and continue to show remorse with simple acts of kindness and in vandu's case the apology to archu....RA i wont term as someone shameless..more vindictive ....conniving..getting even...

No way on my planet that a woman/gal confronting and fighting down a married man's wife can be termed as immature..not buying that..period..

I was taught...if u know u did wrong..be repentant..i cannot digest shravani's behavior...totally unacceptable...it just scares the hell out of me that any decent woman can be that brazen...simple
