Kools , I think Archana is not a Goddess , nor human ..She is an AMOEBA... you know the asexual organism...no sexual feelings whatsoever .

God has made her that way , what to do ...

Savita is too important a influence on Manav's decisions to be disregarded, if at all a reunion track is to be put on the course, even by the callous standards of creatives. And hence this may be pointing to their rehabilitation mode when Shravni might be handled in another slipshod manner by them.

If you remember we had a small dialogue on Aai's influence on Him. That time you had remarked about animal instinct of a mother and bonds bet'n Her and Manav-The bonds which must have become strongest in face of camaraderie in all adversities of their hard life. That time too, I had wondered how creatives would turn around this character, if at all they contemplate reunion track. So, much as you may dislike it now, aren't they heading towards the obvious?

Oh I dont dislike The Savita turning around that much as much I disliked Archu giving her parents and Varsha such less priority compared to sasuraalwallahs .
Samarth , I find Savita's stricken , contemplative face as she remembers her karmas and Vandu's suffering , very heart rending . The character is a REAL character . Something very earthy , real about that character thanks to Usha Nadkarni's talented portrayal of her . Ushaji rocks as Savita , no one else cud have done a Savita as well as she did . The way she walks slowly and contemplatively nowdays , the way she struggles with her emotions as she pretends to be indifferent to Archu is a TREAT to watch .
It is Miss Shakkar I am against .......principally . All this sidelining parents for sasuraal thing gets on my practical nerves .Can't one be a very good bahu yet a very dutiful daughter too ? Is duty only the prerogative of sasural , not for those who gave is Life and who shared a body with us for 9 months ?

Tanya totally agree with u....archana will gain nothing....manav everything....i too think he is very committed to his promise after seeking permission from shravani....in addition....doing that just emboldens shravani to treat archana worst in future..i hated that...
Totally not impressed with the look he gave her at end...Love is an action word...which he is yet to display...my only advice is that she moves out of that house and far away from that fam ASAP..

Yeah, could be that these 2 will live under the same roof without Manav and take care of the little one together....

@ Tanya:
I keep telling myself I won't do this, but your despair always tempts me out of my determination not to lecture you! 😊
For all that we know this is a severely compromised serial from the gender angle- as most of them are, I imagine - one thing is clear: if Archana is supposed to represent a model of female virtue, Manav is equally supposed to represent her virtuous male counterpart. The situation you dread: Archana alone and unhappy, and Manav fulfilled in a family, will never be where the serial ends. If the character of Manav continues in the way it has been built up, he can never be happy without Archana. Just having a wife and child or children is not a sufficient condition for happiness, particularly if you're desperately in love with someone else. As for Archana, what you see as miserable childless loneliness is a choice she would make, were the creatives at all to let it come to that, which they definitely won't. Don't you see, if the world were to be told this is what ideal daughters-in-law come to at the end, who would want to be a daughter-in-law at all, let alone the model for one?? PR is an ultra-conservative serial in the strictest tradition: both good and bad people get their just deserts in a system that Bappa supervises. Any deviation from this would imply a radical ethical / moral questioning that is quite outside the ambit of a serial like this one, meant for the audiences it's meant for.
No?
C
PS: "radical ethical / moral questioning" : ie. why is it possible for virtue to be defeated and vice to flourish in a logical (here, divinely monitored) moral system. Too complex by half for the target audience, and too much in defiance of their expectations to succeed.
