See there are two parts of the human mind- one speaks what it wants to speak, the other is very controlled- it speaks what it should speak.

Now Archana is like a mirror to Manav. He cannot help confessing to her, that he cannot see Shravani as his wife. Coz as we all know, this is the plain truth. Manav has never had eyes for any girl other than Archu. Plain and simple. He might have said yes for wedding, even got engaged, but his heart believes all this to be a tamasha for the sake of baby. Nothing else. His heart is not in this wedding at all. Reality as we know is more severely felt than thought of. During the time he made these decisions, he clearly underestimated his love for Archu. He felt he would somehow be able to 'survive' with Shravani. But he was wrong. He loves Archu so much that he cannot see anyone in her place at all. Remember his expressions during the engagement- it was as if he was dead.

Now why does he keep saying divorce divorce again in front of Archu. Two reasons:

1.) After getting on with his eager and blatant confessions- his controlled mind tries to make up for it. He doesn't want to lead Archu on, since he knows it is of no use- giving her high hopes and then breaking them cos of his commitment- so he tries to remind her, don't be taken in by my 'straight from the heart' confessions- the truth won't change cos of my ramblings. I cannot see shravani as my wife- but I have to get married to her is the hard and sad fact.

2.) This reason is more important: To remind 'himself' that this wedding has to happen- no matter how much pain it gives him. In other words, his controlled mind slaps the other half, asking it not to mutter like a fool but instead remember his commitment and succumb to situations- accept the hard reality.

I hope I didn't end up confusing you people. Actually I'm used to talking in such a way. I can simplify it if you want.

Thinking back to the engageement scene. I remember when I saw him meet Archana outside his house, it was almost like he was hopeful that she was going to stop the engagement. Especially when she mentioned Varsha coming to stop the engagement and saying that she did not know how Varsha found out. he did not own up and looked a little bit guilty. i think he was hoping that one of them would stop this from going through. He even told Varsha the exact time of the engagement. Why else would he do that? Anyway that was what I thought when I saw that epi.

Also the engagement happened after her fall, by then he had already started softening towards her.

What do you think? Think I misunderstood that scene?

Last week he told her I wish you weren't this good. Not sure if he meant if you were a little firmer then you would fight to have me back or if he meant if you were not so nice then I wouldn't feel so bad doing what I am doing? Or Maybe both? I mean this was immediately after he had clarified that she was his wife and he did not feel the need to justify their relationship or their actions.

Just some thoughts.

scary things r happening at university i read the university newspaper today nd the front-page had this headline "Deer slauhtered on Five Minute Walk" five minute walk is an area in our university. the police found a slaughtered deer nd they r claiming that its been killed by 'deer butchers' apparently the police on campus received a letter at the beginning of the semester saying, "I will have no choice but to do what it takes me to eat...And beware: I'm not alone. I know others feel as desperate as I do. Some of us have hunting experiences and some of us dont. But it doesn't matter. We can only afford so much chicken and so many hotdogs." The police didnt pay much attention to this but lately a lot of squirrels disappeared (killed) from campus nd also deers hav been roaming around the campus for 4 5 days more frequently nd the biology professor claims someone has been baiting them. one deer has been found dead nd it looked like someone killed the deer for food. the bio prof said he is afraid for his life our campus is surrounded by a lot of trees nd jungle type area nd it is scary!!i always found the campus scary but this has scared me so much. there is also a picture on the front page of a scary guy. oh i found it on our newspaper website.dont b scared! a girl took this picture from her dorm. she was just looking outside nd saw this guy nd deer so took a picture nd she thought there was some prank going on so didnt pay much attention. she handed the picture to the police when all this came out.



ok now lets talk about something not so serious nd scary😆

there was also an article called "UTM's naughty places" 😆 so here is the list of 'naughty places' at our university😆
-CCIT elevator - this elevator moves too slowly so they said its gud for some naughty stuff but not too much as its not that slow😆
-a random classroom - we hav timetable posted outside every classroom so students know which one is empty at what time
-the dean's lounge-the sofas r apparently too comfortable!
-the bathroom - it says everyone shud try this once before they die
- the library (4th floor especially😉
