Ali I agree TOTALLY. DILS today r very much like MANJU and harass decent in laws if they r like Karanjkars just as ur aunt harassed ur granny . My point is........at the reciving end it generally is a woman ........[ sometimes poor men r harassed too , like ur uncle was ] .

Ali i felt so touched to know you grew up without parents for 8 years .........thank god u had loving grandparents . When my elder sister died , her son was brought up by my mother [ his granny] and he did not miss his mom so much coz my mom substituted all that love that he wud have otherwise missed.
