Carpe, my dad was in the army and when he retired, he used to help my mom in the kitchen. Everything he made was cooked in the pressure cooker and it used to come out so so good. You said that your dad made palao reminded me of my dad. awesome dad.

Moong dal with paranthas are delicious. I should make paranthas tomorrow night to enjoy it with the left over moogi masri dal. Thanks Carpe..good idea.

I also love moogi masri. Sometimes, I put curry patta in the tarka and it changes the flavor altogether.

Sid, you are an egg vege also right?

Hi Fifi,

you have been away as well so chai was for the visitors. Next time you can come by and I will make you a good hazelnut coffee. I also have a good 100% Arabica which we purchased from Cuba. My husband is a coffee collector and loves to drink them too.

Fifi,

when I was a kid and mom used to make mango pickle, me and my two younger brothers used to steal her mangos when she would look in another direction and put salt on it and eat them....I hardly eat them and the thought of the salt intake reminds me of its drawbacks. By God's Grace, I have a clean health.
