i said it before and i am saying it again, shravni is going to reunite Arman. Mark my words. Also I want to see Satish and vershu break into a dance, just like Arman 😆. Since Arman reunion isnt happening anytime soon, I want to see a little more of Satish and Vershu, and she getting past her pride and developing feelings for him.
P.S can someone explain into detail the meaning of Pavitra Rishta. Its so funny i am debating plots from the show and i dont even know the meaning of the title.

For once think abt Manav, all his life he has been made the sacrificial goat, right from childhood moulded by his Mom to think for the family first, left his education to feed them, never had any personal desires or whims......the only tym he did was when he saw Archana.....but even then he felt he wasn't ryt for her not b'coz she was too good for him but he genuinely wanted her to be married to someone who comes from an affluent educated social background. How many men/ humans think that way? to put oneself beyond physical desires nd personal satisfaction, it takes enormous guts to even think in such a manner.
Archana is no diff, yes she has committed her share of mistakes like Manav but again she will never fall in love or love someone as much as Manav......impractical it is but that's how she is and there are ppl like her in this world.....that's why I've said they are soul-mates. I know a lot has happnd which makes it diff to bring them together but cant we not for a moment think only about them nd forget the past.....two ppl who deserve true love nd happiness nd can find it only in themselves....Is it too much to ask?

Well said...its not too much to ask...its just tht we, as viewers, lack the tolerance power or patience of Archana or manav...they r superhumans to do wht they r doin,ARchu toleratin MIL like Savita for the welfare of Manav even tho she knows their relationship has ended...manav prioritising his responsibilities over every other sensible thing.Their love is unconditional n selfless.

We r simply viewers n get angry at our own helplessness to help these soulmates who refuse to prioritise their own relationship.

The day they reunite ,we'll b partyin as well😊

yes what u say is very true . uour POV is also shared by us.

The sindoor act has angered some women to the core dear . It is an insult to both........Archu and Shravni .

He did it when he wasnt even divorced ..........he cud easily have told his mother , heck no ill not put sindoor without the divorce coming thru it isnt ethical or fair to SHravni...........that wud have silenced her

but like a mamas boy he did it in front of his undivorced wife

That psyched women viewers out . Coz if a woman does it in front of her undivorced hubby , the man is hailed as an impotent guy who took it and the woman as a badchalan .

Not just that , it is hailed as Responsibility . Im indeed gonna make a seperate post for that .

Yes he sacrificed a lot since childhood . I dont hate the character but I do want him to develop only by realising the enormity of his mistake

He is not divorced , his responsibility is Archu

The court order did NOT state that Archu shud stay there to see him making symbolising acts of marraige with another woman

Savita is not above court and Manav shud have understood that

Ur POV is honestly beautiful but so much has happened that some answers need to be there

Kool does such a relation really exist in t'days tym......hell not.....but u know wat PR drew me like a magnet .....it ws due to it's simple story line, real love story otherwise most of the shows r like watching Sooraj Bharjatya movie ( no offence to SB fans) somewhere I felt the middle class love stories hve gone outta fashion wid the advent of BT age........but again PR is from their stable which is quite a paradox or wait a min actually this show ws conceptualized by a tamil channel nd I think they shld take Ekta to court for destroying their wonderful concept.

PS : Pay attention to cbnerd. What she says is gonna happen . The Shravni everyone hates is gonna unite ARMAN and like a Madonna glide into oblivion or Death .

Okay, i don't how many people will agree with me....

Call Manav stupid, dumb, brainless, spineless anything... I'll not say anything, but unfaithful... I really don't agree.

Archu was never unfaithful, I agree. Even when she came to know that her husband was a pimp, she couldn't help thinking about him. But you have to also agree that a lot had happened which made her refuse Satish'a proposal. She had seen Manav's goodness, his calmness in the midst of the whole storm, attempts that he made to get back to her... which made her wonder whether she was really doing the right thing by leaving him. And she gave these same reasons to Satish and everyone else when she broke the marriage. Her marriage with Satish was an attempt to move forward in life. But she could not imagine herself moving in life with anyone else.

The same thing is here with Manav too. When his relationship with Archana hit the rocks, he knew he could not move on in life with anyone else. So he decided that he would be a tissue paper and got ready to use his wasted life for saving Shravani's honour. He said these exact words to his dad... and these same words to Shravani as well... you are making a compromise for the baby and I'm making one for my brother.

Manav isn't marrying to move forward in life. He himself admits that he will never be able to forget Archu or love someone else... that he would be unhappy all his life. But look at his circumstances. He has created this mess around him in which he committd to a girl who didn't abort coz of his promise. If she goes to abort now, her life will be in danger (now don't think I'm with him in this decision, I'm just seeing things through his point of view). If he goes with Archu, his family will be ruined, Shravani will be dishonoured, he will lose his brother's last memory and will be branded guilty of running away from his promise and ruining a girl's life. If he goes with Shravani, Archu ends up as the victim

About not prioritising Archana, I too was very angry with him, that how could he forget that she is his responsibility as well. But it was my Mom who brought me to earth. She said,

"what he is doing is wrong, but not unexpected. Tell me, which boy will leave his family of 31 years which has lovingly brought him up to be with his wife of 6 months.. just like he loves Archana he loves his family a lot too... in a spontaneous moment any man will choose to stand by his family... he may later ponder and think and feel guilty and go back to his wife, but any man will first choose his family. And its not just the case with Manav. If Sulochana had had a hear attack ad asked Archu to marry Satish or MAnav hadn't saved Varsha then even Archana might have said yes to marriage with Satish."

At the moment I am also angry with Manav for giving preference to responsibility, he is doing injustice, but I don't feel he is unfaithful.

Please don't throw tomatoes on me now. Jus my point of view, I guess everyone is going to have different opinions on this.

I wudnt say it doesnt exist . It exists rarely . Mostly however we see selfishness in marraiges , not selflessness . Girls want boy to make more more and more money and boy two times girl by throwing occasional jewellery at her and flirts heavily in office. These r bad times .

PR shows realistic lower middle class life in Dombivli. It convinces and it touches a chord . The middle class atmosphere is superb . The way they came to meet Archu with apples in a plastic grocery bag , in a rickshaw . The way water comes only twice during a day in a chawl . The way ARchu Varshu wear cotton nighties at home. The way Archu was hanging clothes standing on a stool.

Its not just ARMAN .......the full atmosphere contributes. Theere r no filmy bungaloiws and a curving staircase in the background that is perpetually there in ALL hindi serials. Even the photos of Gods on walls r so typical . So is the middle class kitchen.

The crux , highlight of the show was Manav inspite of doing thousand adjustments in his life , allows himself one dream.........Archana.

They shud have held on to that , that Manav never gives up on Archu . As u said , Ektas idiot team shud have stuck to Tamil version and NOT used their sadela brains.

The best wud have been the suhaag raat where garage mechanic wud have tenderly handled the delicate flower in his rough greased hands . 😊
