Today Manav was wrong . Not just wrong , very very wrong .
1] He may love his mother immensely and blindly , but that really doesn't mean his mother is allowed to constantly humiliate people by throwing their characters in their face in public . It is not wrong to be poor or lower middle class or to live in a chawl or even to have a roadside sense of humour . Even poor people can behave with dignity . See Kaka's character .........it ensures respect . But it is not acceptable to use gutter fighting guts to take advantage of the decency of someone and talk this cheaply to her evrytime u run into her . Savita herself is a woman .......how wud she feel if she was accused of being characterless ? Savitas argument is that she is fighting on Manav's behalf . Even if she is , purposefully hacking Archana's character on every roadside corner is simply not done . Vinod was right , the woman needed reining in . I know . fans having crushes on Manav will say what about Manav's character that went up in flames in public . But it has to be noted that the Karanjkar family did not plan that , neither did they throw Manav's character in his face on evry roadside corner when they bumped into him . They simply withdrew in silence , with coldness and dignity . What Varsha did with Savita was right . The way she was insulting Manav's Dad today , saying I wont stop etc is simply not done . When words cud not stop the woman , he slapped her which was long over due .
2] Manav had no right to tell his father not to slap his mother etc . His mother often insulted and humiliated his father publicly . Very badly too . Besides it is a husband wife matter ..........Savita is not just Manavs mom but also a wife . Who is Manav to interfere in a husband wife thingy ? He was cradling his nautanki low life mother as if she was a saint . Manav had heard her call Archana Charitra heen . Archana had come there upon invitation . Telling her to go was being a bad host and a horrible insult . Taking Savitas side and telling her to go was really too much . If till now he had shown irritation at Archu due to some of Archus faults i wud understand . But he showed irritation for first time for the wrong reason .
3] Girish and Sulochna r perfectly right from their point of view . Which parent will let his daughter stay in that hell hole where sons like Manav support their mother and Sachin gets trained under her for bad things like flicking money . It is not enough that the boy is good If the boy is incapable of standing upto his bad parents .....like Savita. Last time when Savita demanded necklace from Archus house Manav solved the problem by buying a necklace and pretending it was from Sulochana...........instead of telling his mother by standing up to her that no , no more jewels will be demanded, plain and simple . Was that any way of solving a problem ? If he is going to cradle his awful mother like this he is abetting her criminal behaviour .............for going to people's houses , standing in front of doors and calling them characterless is a legal crime and comes under character assasination . Manav has never stood upto Savita , all he has shown was he is attracted immensely to Archu . This isn't enough .
This is the time Archu shud have shown spirit and walked away saying stay with your cursed mother . Unfortunately spirit is shown wrongly in this serial .
