Because nobody is a bechara in this scenario. Reyansh has always been brutal but honest with Pranati. He has always called a spade, a spade and explained her why she and him could not be a possibility. Leaving her pregnant wasn't a great idea. But for someone who is used to dealing with everything like a trade, I can imagine why he left. At 18, I am sure most of the people do not understand the implications of pregnancy.
Pranati at 18 was a different person than the one we see now, earlier she would buy into everything Rey said verbatum. But now, she gives it back to him without taking his BS. She calls him out when he is being a jackass.
In the usual shows, after the BGM and Eyelock scenes, the Heroine would usually forget to continue the argument and the focus would shift to her so called "ehsaas" of being close to the hero. But Pranati calls Reyansh out in the cold that he is simply lying to her when they discuss Rhea and Armaan. Also, when the famous leg scene happened, she simply states that tomorrow again he would go back to his old crude ways. She does not hope to be the one to change him so far.
Pranati and Reyansh have a chemistry because of their past relationship. So far, the scenes represent their chemistry to me. There is no love for now, Reyansh has never witnessed anybody sticking with one person throughout till the end in his family or his close circle of people. His world is very different from the world Pranati comes from.
More often than not, we need something to bring to people together to put aside the egos and work together their differences to make a relationship work. That is the reason I believe Jugnu gives. Both of them see the world they could create with the 3 of them together, a happy family helping each other out with things. Like in the precap, we see Rey smiling at Pranati teaching Jugnu and Pranati smiling at Rey helping Jugnu. It is their simple wish to have their own small happy world.
I am invested in this journey of how they create their small world, make right for all the wrongs inflicted on each other, build the trust and love again. Right now, there is just chemistry in the air. For love, the characters will have to embark on a whole journey to come out at the finishing line. Kunal and Aneri are doing a great job so far, I hope we get a journey worthy enough.
For some reason, Archit seems to be too nice a guy to be real. However, I respect the guy for standing by Pranati to fight for Jugnu's custody. But I can also not forget that he didn't stand up for Pranati when his sister went on a rant against her at the library or at the Khurana House which was totally uncalled for. I think he deserves someone else rather than Pranati to bring some color to his life and some adrenaline in his life.
