@bold those IVs use to be so much fun and this looked exactly the same, its as if we have time travelled😆 and that bhindi part,I remember in one of the IVs when Akku had said that she makes bhindi the best, Kunal had said kabhi khilayi nahi meri fav hai 🤣 also Kunal keeps fidgeting with his hair aka Mohan😆 or rather vice versa
Both of them love Ashnoor and its so so visible! Back then and even now, her mention lights them up especially Kunal. Kunal also mentioned that his dad watches her on Pb 😆
@red we will be offending lots of so called 'fans' because we are saying this but as a person who has followed her growth right from NBT days and some really terrific scenes in Pb, that was bound to happen coz there was no good story to back her up!!Both NBT and Pb season 1 had terrific screenplay and writing, so her potential was actually utilised. Not to mention that the other cast members especially Kunal, Aniruddh, Akansha and Paridhi truly mentored and supported her growth as an actor! Everything has an age, am sure she will be good in whatever she has done in season 2 later on when she is actually that mature and not just acts like one.
Yeah I hope he was watching season 1😆....seriously I dread any of them discussing PB2. Bahut awkward ho jaayega. They can praise her in general without commenting on the creepy love story, please 🙏
Yea, they have a very obvious soft corner for Ashnoor cuz NBT was that unique show where she sort of grew up in front of them as a child. She was literally a baby then and they all got to play these special parts there together....tab ego ka scope nahin tha to ruin relationships 😆....it was a pure bond.
BTW it still makes me laugh that Akanskha keeps calling Kunal SIR😆
Re: Ashnoor’s acting. Yes, she had the support of strong writing in NBT1 and PB1, but she definitely is a very talented actress. That seems to have ended up backfiring on her in some ways though...simply cuz she’s very talented, Rajita became delusional enough to think she could play a 23 year old in a mature love story. That is just deranged. No one can succeed like this. If Akanksha was asked to play this when she was 15, it would have been creepy on her too. Dunno why people take it as a personal attack if one points out the miscasting here. Ashnoor was just not the right cast for a 23 year old trying to play mommy and romance a guy double her age. 🤷♀️
She has her whole life and career left in front of her with many opportunities to prove her range as an actress. Dunno what the desperate hurry was to do this now when she doesn’t have the maturity in her appearance yet. As you said, everything has an age and a time for it. I can understand actors wanting to push the boundaries in a fictional space but even then this was a very poor choice that has backfired.
ROFL imagine if Vishesh also joined this live with them 🤣....Kunal can pull out all his catchphrases....Aye Chavanni, aye Piddi 😆
Waise can I just say that 8 years later also people ask them about NBT and that is when you know it’s a true cult hit. 8 years later when people remember PB and Ashnoor is asked about it, it will only be associated with season 1 - how much do you want to bet people will only ask about HS, Babita and Mini? 😆
Actors get caught up in the here and now and their world narrows to their own characters rather than the overall connection of the show. Maybe time will give them perspective about what really mattered. The people screaming on social media don’t determine the legacy of a show. True fans are the ones who remember substance fondly many years later.
Autumn!🤗
Long time!
For me it was always about Babita and her journey towards self empowerment. I dunno how and why this became Mini's journey.
Ashok cannot be forgiven on any pretext and I don't see any 'his' side of the story that can bring out significant change in the fact that he had a very conscious EMA after having a wife at home, who was serving his parents and bringing up his child instead of enjoying her life with him.
For me it was about loving yourself first, about true companionship and about a very healthy step parent - child relationship (if we choose to call that), with the child affected terribly by her parent's divorce.
It was about a daughter giving wings to her mother and help her grow, as a person, asking her to live her life on her terms.
Rest, I really DON'T CARE.😆
- Mahi.
Like you all mentioning I too believe that Ashnoor grew as an actor moreso not only because she got good hands in director and script but also because she got to grew under the wings of actors like Kunal, Akansha, Aniruddh and Paridhi.... She got a strong support in them... And you can make out the difference when you see her perform with them on a different level.... Ashnoor has worked with many people around and they have been there for her.... Since I have not catched her in any of the shows apart from NBT and PB... I cannot speak for other actors who worked with her when she was a kid..
I strongly believe her growth started to reflect during NB days when she had maximum screenspace with kunal and akansha.... Then ofcoz seeing her perform with aniruddh and paridhi she went one step ahead ... Only when u get good experienced actors to work around you it becomes easier for you to perform.....

I think it’s a combination of factors. Having a support system of good directors and talented co-actors of course helps uplift a person’s performance. Ultimately this is a team sport if people are truly interested in a quality product.
But one needs to have raw material/talent to begin with. Even Mickey and Preeti got scenes with AD and PS. But they didn’t stand out to that level. Ashnoor has the talent and screen presence to begin with and it gets uplifted by support in strong writing/co-actors. No doubt she was nurtured by various people in her career.
But looks like she thought she was ready to go solo with PB2 in playing mommy to a kid and then girlfriend to older guy ....not realizing that the writing/co-star support won’t exist anymore...none of the new cast gelled one bit. Like I said, she only seems to believe in whatever Rajita tells her. So she went along with every decision 🤷♀️
She can still grow a lot as an actress but it depends on her making the right choices to nurture her talent.
😆

@bold Ya I really want to know about this, why Sir till today
@red ditto no doubt she is talented but that talent has to be channelized properly like it was earlier, not wasted or taken for granted 😳
