Was feeling bad for pbs .... not seen the serial lately but probably restaurant is a part of the storyline now ...just thinking did all of us not want this only ...Babita owning a restaurant and all the issues faced in the path ....I also wanted her to meet someone in the process but they have created that storyline now ...Babita has been replaced by Mini and there is a Male lead from what I read in the forum ...so why did they not create this storyline earlier and instead ruined it to then kill the main characters and actually create same story line with new characters (though it is mini still the story is not her’s)...MINI is getting irritating now ...then it was her presence in life of Babes which made it so interesting but they killed that same bond and the new PBS does not seem as genuine as the old one ...hence no hurry to watch it ...dekha to dekha warna forum hain ....warna watch it once in a while warna don’t watch ....there is no curiosity abt what is happening or what might have happened ....they lost the plot ...they took away the soul and now they are trying to create the same old story with skeletons 😀😀 but who is going to watch ...somehow don’t think this season will work ...it would have worked if it would have been a new story but recreating same one won’t help ...again instead of showing Mini and Arya’s bond they are again taking the wrong path ....by again coming back with restaurant story and a romantic angle which no one wants to watch ...also by making a 15 year old suddenly behave as one who is 23 they are only irritating ....someone let them know that they better shut their shop ...it will only result in loss
They did have opportunity to create excellent season 1 but maybe they wanted two mediocre seasons instead. TRPs Maybe. Or maybe they wanted the show to last for few years instead of wrapping up in a year.
I guess we have spent enough time complaining about the mess PB became after wedding and PB's Twitter made it clear multiple times that they don't care. No one but the writers themselves ruined the amazing work they did for 150+ episodes.
Anyway you are right about the fact that season 2 has been low on content so far. It has already been a month and they're yet to show any gripping track. Minnie Arya bonding is good but that was so predictable that it doesn't really qualify as a track of it's own- that was going to happen anyways.
Naeem bi gave some hint about Minnie resuming photography, so we might get to see her journey in professional life. Let's see if the story picks up pace from here or not. I'm trying to be hopeful but I see little chances of PB-2 achieving the level of quality (be it acting, story or direction) that PB-1 achieved in its first 150 episodes.
About the new characters, I don't find them intriguing. Even the old characters feel redundant. Probably because there is no substantial content so far. Minnie juggling between all the responsibility is pretty expected. They have sprinkled a little bit of naeem bi, dadu biji here and there. Actress playing Arya is just okay. And even though I loved SRJ in Mahabharat, I have to say so far Hanuman Singh >>> Neil oberoi.
As of now only silver lining is Minnie's professional journey.
