yes we all should be babita s fan. She bought a shop for 8 L and was running a good business. She decides to not want it anymore so in her hurry and ego sells it off at a loss of 6 L. Who in their right minds would do it. It's a shop a place the value of a commercial space would only go up or remain same. She could have kept those 8 L for further use and used it for her restaurant business when she needed it. BUT she keeps her house girvi to open restaurant. The restaurant runs in loss and the HOUSE is at risk now.

I'm not even talking here about Babita the person. I'm talking about babita the business women. There is a height of carelessness and recklessness which she has clearly crossed in the way she has dealt with things

This is what I thought also. I can totally understand her wanting to immerse herself in her married life (who could blame her) but surely the sensible thing to do would be to delegate and hire someone to take on her role. She could have easily met with them for an hour or so a week to get an update- god knows she had time to make herself insecure with her gossip sessions with saroj. Even if she didn’t want to be financially independent she could contributed to the marriage financially by her profits. Maybe hs could have retired earlier or pay for family holidays or a car for eg.

In reality no one who’s tasted freedom and earning their own money let’s it go that easily, regardless of what they were brought up to believe

That is what crossed my mind too.

And even if she really hated going to shop, no one pointed out how irresponsible it is for an owner to behave like that. I was expecting Hanuman to ask her to continue working to recover loss before closing it, cause as far as I remember he was a partner in the shop as well. But he was singing your life your wish all along.

He did tell her at one point from what I remember that mini was right about her identity and how can she let all their months of hard work go down the drain, but I think he was also caught between a rock an a hard place knowing what life she had and how she was unable to make her own decisions. So he appeared to want to give her that freedom but she just chose wrongly and in a fit of rage signed the papers. She also went to Kathri (the man who tried to force himself of her) of all people without anyone’s knowledge.

I think it’s fair to say that babita lost the plot after the wedding and if anything it boils down to how she went over her first marriage before getting married again

Well hanuman is not a partner in pb . Naeem be suggested to make him partner as he also gave 20000 but he was never partner in pb.because due to gov jobs regulations he can't earn money from any other sources and he gave money only due to huminity.

Heya even I have started liking the sisters bond slowly.

In S1 also Babita & minni bond was more of sisters than mother daughter. Though I wish they had subtle ending and not abrupt ending with mini still holding grudge for her mother.

In S2 Arya is quite impressive. Very cute 😍

There is one more spoof on it where rohit is seen watching gopi bahu wash the laptop with soap and water. I had actually watched tht first and thought that is a real scene from the show

Oh nice. I don’t have much opinion about the actors right now. However, I find Karan’s comic timing really good. I am liking Dipika and Karan’s chemistry as well. Their romantic scenes are good.

What scene is this Rohit watching Gopi bahu wash the laptop? I haven’t seen this. Where did you watch?

this any self respecting woman would not go to the man who tried to molest her. this is what i detested in PB khatri being allowed around babita and she herself allowing him around her. in reality if someone tried to molest you you would not want to do anything with that person. i never liked the way molestation was taken so lightly by the writers

Agreed. Patiala babes was one of the first indian serials I personally watched and so I’ve given others a try after liking PB and I thought it’s shameful how rape is portrayed. What shocks me even more is there’s obviously a demand for these types of storylines else they wouldn’t be showing them and I’ve seen some on here (not PB) discuss rape storylines with so much of excitement (especially if the one trying to rape is good looking). This is why even tho whatever wrongly happened at the end of s1 (I’d have prepared Hs and babita plus Arya I s2) I still believe it’s Pb is the best show on all the Indian channels we’ve got access to here in the uk.

Btw I don’t mind them showing rape as it raises awareness. I know a lot of women in India are blamed and judged by even their own family so people clearly need education, but it needs to be done in a more responsible way considering what a huge problem it is in the country.
