Eulogy for season 1

Hanita have died. The protagonists have died. And with them the Old Patiala Babes series has died too.

There is no more I can say about the grief than what you’ve said already. and more beautifully.

I wanted to just thank whoever out there for putting in the Old PB together. A series like none other. A set of actors and actresses like none other.

On an intellectual level, the Old series raised quite a few serious social issues still existing in the Indian culture. On an emotional level, we connected to the protagonist and others in a way that surprised us. And for all that we each drew from the season 1, I thank them all who were part of it.

AD, Paridhi and Mohit must be feeling quite low. I reckon that’s why AD talked about taking a break in the hills. An emotional break. I send my heartfelt love 💕 and best wishes to them. I love them and will miss them. I wish to see them all together on a different stage and under a different production house. Not KK. You can’t go back. I wish them upwards and onwards from here.

Before I go, a warm hug 🤗 to all you my friends. I owe you so much.

I agree with every single word you said. It was a one of a kind show and setup and will remain in our memories for a very long time.

No matter how it ended, I am glad that we got to witness this on our screens for almost a year.

Whatever you said about the show is cent percent right. Such a promising show turned into itv ott drama after 180 episodes. Kk got lured into trp and politics of tv industry. Its a shame that an amazing show got ruined. But babita and hanuman singh will always be in my heart.
