Cant connect with Minnie

I am a neutral fan of this show and I want to continue watching PB ...but yesterday I couldnt really get the connect with Minni's pain and emotions ..it felt as superficial ...not to say I missed Hanuman Babita ..but something very unusual like there is no soul in the show anymore ..

And, obviously the show will not be the same anymore. The two most important elements of the show have been axed. The parents of Mini, have been shown dead. How is it supposed to be the same? The initial episodes of mother and daughter were so amazing! It felt real.

Now, it has totally lost its essence. After Babita and Hanuman got married, the show lost its genuinity. The once Babita who was always into her business, who always had different aspirations, is calling her career nonsense, and says that she has to look after her husband. And she was the same Babita, who couldn't support him during Imarti track! Look at the irony and the level of hypocrisy by the writers.

And Mini, who would always place her mother before anything in this world, hid from her that she applied for a university in Australia...

That shows the actual thinking level of the writers, nothing more....😐😐

I failed to connect with Mini as well maybe I am tired watching her crying and faking to be strong 😕for heaven sake for whom you're acting strong it's time you at least your pain out😳 but no she won't why cause she is Veer balika🤓 who is cannot go weak cannot let her emotion out even before the people who is always been her well wisher she can cry alone 😒

But girl the way Ash acted yesterday blown me the initial shock the suffocation 👏 she did splendid job there 👏

still I failed to connect with Mini but but the little Arya gosh the girl is such cutie pie adorable doll the way she come and acted my god I was so awed by her acting 👏

I won't forgave CV's for making the actors go through this much I know it's all fictional and acting but man you need to be heartless and sadist for making the actors cry daily in every damn scene it's depressed the viewer I cannot imagine what actor go through by this 😳

Yeah, it all seems superficial. In HS-Babita's presence, her grief and other teenage shit was acceptable, and now they are only talking about all that, doesn't sound real at all. And I couldn't even relate to the sadness man. Her parents are dead. 🤢 And I couldn't connect at all.

Ashnoor is a good actress but she cannot carry the show on her shoulders alone

well she could have if she was playing her age and there was some continuity to the story. here the leap, deaths, mini going away on such bitter terms have all been forcefully added to the story and it makes everything disconnected. there was a certain flow which PB had its missing now

Agreed, I also think it's super unrealistic to expect a 23 year old estranged daughter to be responsible for her half-sister. It is not Mini's duty to take care of Arya and the fact that the writing is so heavily pushing that narrative is disappointing.

It’s Actually not very unrealistic at all. Not everyone is blessed with having a big family and it’s not uncommon for older siblings to bring up their younger siblings, especially where the parents have passed on. There are many cases where mothers die in childbirth for eg and siblings bring up kids (sometimes while still being in school themselves). Mini is 23 and old enough to be a parent herself. they’ve got no extended family so who’s duty would it be to bring Arya up? The next best bet is saroj and she weren’t even willing to let babita stay by her house.

That's true when the siblings have been brought up together. In this case Mini and Arya have barely had any contact and it's clear that (at the moment) there is no emotional connect.

@bold: she may be old enough but that doesn't mean she's emotionally ready or even wants to sacrifice her dreams and ambitions. It's a lot to ask of someone to take care of a kid that's not theirs.
