It's likely that will be the case with Ashnoor.

AD will probably focus only on his new projects and not talk about HS for some time.....they all need time and distance from the show to be able to savor the journey again I feel.

Waise bhi abhi fans ka bitter drama and bashing will continue until the show is on air toh is sab mein actors kya bolenge....aur kisko.

I anyways don't feel PB will last longer than 3 more months from now. Let's see.

I don't think actors doing ITV shows dissect their characters the way I've seen in other industries, at least not to my knowledge, but one day I would love to ask Aniruddh about this.

AD would probably also want to take some time off and get into a different headspace. Even though he's can switch on and off between scenes, I think playing HS has affected him emotionally and changed him as a person. Also, the way things ended with the PH might mean he wants to get away from all this for a bit. Who knows?

You are optimistic. I doubt it will even last 2 months.

With her grandparents, she's the one who seems to be the trying to bring stability to their life rather than them really doing anything much to guide her.

Ek HS tha who was her steady guiding figure....but he also fumbled at crucial points and let her down....and I guess having been disappointed by so many adults in her life, she didn't have the strength left to rely that much on someone again as she had once grown to with HS.

HS had steady positive influences as you said.....so that must have helped.

I think back to the promise she made HS about never leaving him. Will he bring that up? Will he finally have the courage to speak up and say I don't want you to leave because you belong in my life and family as my daughter? Will he stop trying to be so understanding and for once share his hopes and expectations out loud instead of 'as you like as you wish'? It's all great to give people independence and space, but sometimes you also need to show that you love them and care so much that you would want to hold on to them. I don't mean in the sense of suffocating them but more in the sense that you show them what place they have in your life and how much it would hurt for you to see them go.

Do you mean the promise from the Imarti track? This scene?

I doubt if this phase even matters anymore...it's all been undone with the CD fiasco.....they are behaving as if the past bonds and words don't count anymore.

I would be pleasantly surprised if they gave him one final scene to frankly express everything he feels about Mini without holding back in any form.....if he finds the courage to express just how much he's yearned to be her father, what she's meant in his life, why he can't bear to lose her.....last few scenes were about apologies more than him actually expressing his feelings....he needs one scene to be only about his emotions for her.

But I doubt we will get it.....shouldn't expect much at this point.....lol

What I would give to see him just take a few moments to tell her all that has been in his heart since before and after the wedding, spill out his insecurities regarding her, and especially regarding Ashok! I can't imagine Minnie leaving without not knowing his side of the story, which I think he was also indirectly referring to in their conversation during KC, and knowing that there are only a few episodes left, I really hope they get to have one proper conversation. Maybe even after he gives her the letter or tells her about its contents. I know I'm asking for too much, but can KK not do this even for their own character Minnie's sake?

LOL you are trying to give laalach to KK to show this for Mini's sake?😆....I don't know if they will bother.....cuz after Babita burns the letter and says what she did in the precap, it's likely going to be more about a showdown between her and Mini.....HS bas side pe makaanmaalkin ko console karta reh jaayega.

LOL these things depend on the channel's mood....I've seen much trashier shows survive three months or more despite a horrible storyline.

PB ka new season won't be a patch on the original but it will still likely not be as trashy as the rest of ITV is...😆......so when trash can survive 3 months easily, I guess PB S2 might as well😆

HS was the role of a lifetime....no matter how things have ended, I hope AD savors this experience. He did a phenomenal job and he should take pride in the legacy he's left behind with this body of work. Focus on the positive of the experience rather than the bitter end.

True, even in this state PB is still better than most of the shows out there, which goes to show how sorry the state of ITV affairs really is.

I would like to think HS was the role of a lifetime but the way the industry is changing something tells me AD is going to get more and more iconic roles. It will not be his last but it will definitely be memorable because it's a rarity on TV and the kind of range he has been able to showcase has been phenomenal. He should indeed take pride in the legacy with the body of work. I agree with the person who said he has wiped out the competition and is the best actor on ITV right now. I have to give it to him that even with all the ups and downs in the script, I never for a single moment felt he wasn't HS. His performance has been consistently top-notch in every frame, every mono and dialogue.

If his SAG interview with Himanshu is anything to go by, he will look back on his work with pride and consider it positive. He is very humble and will also be grateful for the exposure he has gotten through PB and definitely for the huge number of new fans. Others in the industry must have taken notice. Also, he's had a lot of things going on since the past year: web series, first Haryanvi film (for which he won an award too), modeling assignments, photo shoots, etc.

I am glad he's giving himself the chance to get into new things and trying them out. He's been doing ITV long enough to understand the nature and cycle of shows so he must have already been preparing for his next projects from the look of it. I also think he'd rather quit while ahead than have the show drag for years with mindless plots. I just feel bad because he always refused to take credit for bringing HS to life and kept praising the writing and new era of content. Well, so did we.

Yes, HS stumbled and I know with time he would have learned but he just hasn't had much time with her and now she's going to leave before he can do any damage control. Before all this mess started I always used to feel sad that he would have only gotten a very small amount of time with her before he sent her off willingly to find her way in the world. Now with this disastrous ending, even that's gone out the window.

He didn't officially have the responsibility of being a role model/father figure but she kind of started looking up to him early on because he was completely different from everyone else she'd known until then. Also, he's the only one who made her feel relaxed enough to be a kid, throw tantrums, etc. She hasn't had that with anybody else. He's been in her life for barely a year but the others have caused far more damage.

Yes, that's the scene I was referring to. It was so touching but also painful to see HS succumbing to his pain and just giving in to take comfort for once.

I agree that just one scene would be more than enough and I know it would be mind-blowing if he gets to express all this. I can just imagine AD killing it. I don't think I should hope for anything par kya karein, dil ke armaan khatam hi nahin hote and AD's tweet about it being a wonderful scene made me feel that way!

I want HS to tell Minnie (and us) how he felt about the CD and why he hid the letter, that it had to do with his own selfishness as a father who wanted to keep his daughter close. Lala might not be there to tell her what HS had told him about his fears so she really needs to hear it from HS directly. KK can surely do this for Minnie if not for HS. She also needs to know that he hasn't abandoned her or stopped caring for her the way she deep down has wanted him to. She can't deduce it though, he needs to tell her explicitly - this lack of communication has been the cause of many issues in their lives already and now if he has nothing to lose, I'd rather he have an outburst, cry his heart out and tell her EVERYTHING! Come on!

I do hope though, that they surprise us and that HS doesn't take anyone's side, rather puts his own perspective across about what he feels as a person. This is as good a time as any to talk to both Babita and Minnie about his daddy issues or his take on childhood trauma or whatever it is that he's bottled up so far. More than that, I don't want him consoling Babita or feeling guilty for Minnie leaving because he cannot be blamed for that entirely. By Minnie's own admission, she only considers Babita her family, so if she were to leave it would be because of Babita, no one else.

I would really appreciate it if he agrees with Minnie that she needs to leave and also goes off on his own assignment and focuses on his duty. I've hated how his job hasn't been his priority for a while now.

Anyway, the scenes have been shot already so whatever I wish for doesn't even count. LOL!

By the way, the manner in which Minnie walked off after the argument with Babita in Friday's episode seemed to be exactly like the way HS walks off. Even in that she's his daughter. ❤️

Wait....AD tweeted that there is going to be a good HS-Mini scene before the final goodbye? Oh wow....should I also start hoping now? LOL bhai phir se popat na ban jaaye humara😆

I do think he's going to take Mini's side in the end and say he understands why she needs to leave....the signs so far are pointing to that only.....he will let go.

But if we get one great final conversation and scene b/w these two, shaayad dil ko thoda sukoon milega despite the lost potential otherwise.

Like one member here has said something along the lines of, AD/HS' exits in a scene are a work of art. For Minnie to walk out exactly like that is nothing short of mind-blowing. Even her vocabulary has changed.

Satto Chaachi also noticed it in a few minutes!
