Problem with Hanuman is he can not apologize. Accepting his mistake is a huge deal for him. unless and until probed. It becomes an Ego issue for him.

But Poonam madame came and blamed everything on Babita’s ego. And that Babita will ruin her project. Why? Coz Babita was hurt with Hanuman’s “paraya mard” comment. And was expecting him to at least talk to her about it. Wah logic.

Seeing Hs and Mini cry over omelette, she decided not to move out and made a move. Proposed him. (Still who is egoistic? Babita)

And when she asked for Apology, once again Hanuman’s ego was hurt and he named it as Babita’s Amrit Manthan.

I mean amazing. 👏 Writers are amazing.

So now we have these 3 options to pick and chose from whenever something goes wrong.
Babita’s ego, Amrit Manthan and Wo project tod degi.

Anyways, nothing against these fictitious characters, just an observation regarding the main character if the show. All characters deserve good depiction but not at the expense of other one.

Only if the writers do justice with all the characters then this show would be much better..They can show flaws in characters and how they overcome it with some reasonable scenes..Babita was never a perfect human being , inspite she learns to overcome all her imperfections with the help of her daughter..Thats what makes this show different from others..I know now they are dealing with her emotional aspects..But the way they have shown her as immature,impulsive is beyond her originality and basic nature. Still they can show Mini as victim without butchering of the characters..Both HS and Mini had/has Strong characterisation , Babita HAD a character sketch but not NOW.. She is staying at the same position for a long time..I think they will not show till end(as per tweets)..

I remember these scenes. But they all looked like Babita was extremely cautious around Meeta. In her mind, Meeta took away her husband.

So mini being around Meeta, aggravated insecure Babita. Mini was the only one she was left with from her 35 years of life. Her own brother broke relations with her. She was extremely on the edge with Mini that she can’t share Mini. And Meeta was the danger zone for Babita. In her mind, Meeta chhin legi usse was the constant fear. So all this situations were understandable.

Same with Hanuman. Meeta held his hand this one goes next day to tell him that she will cook for him. And that apni cheeze sambhal ke rakhni padti hai.

I have been reading and enjoying the discussion. A newbie here though.

From a man's perspective, I think the show does not show a balanced notion when rectifying issues. First of all too much focus on Minnie solving everything make this beautiful show absolutely unrealistic.

Second the main character babes is humiliated, distorted and literally raped million times that I feel so bad for the main 'attraction' of this show. I also feel so bad for the beautiful rajput princess, what did she get in this show?

- the main fiasco to the beautiful wedding series did not happen due to khatri's trick, neither CD fiasco but hanuman's immature attack and foolish accusation. How can someone after knowing what these girls went through with ashok would dream to think a 17 year old girl would come up with this sinister plan to hurt him in front of everyone. And on top of that he kept on shedding tears, accusing her and cutting her off when she tried to explain. No one came to correct the brainy hanuman except the brainless babita. Duh! Not even the wise NB!!!!!

- Then yes the brainy guy screams at his step daughter and threatens to kick her out just because brainless babes taunted him to step up. And when she tells him he crossed limit, he throws temper tantrum at her. But no one bothers to correct him. All eyes are on the poor babes. The words that he used are poorly chosen, full of harshness and not a way to correct specially when he knows the situation is so delicate. But today's episode, he dumps it on babes. The same old amrit manthan. Well if he is better off without babes. Then yes, babes is better of without him too.

- before wedding nb criticizes babes for returning Hanuman's business shares as if that was so stupid. And he freaks out and reminds her of all the gayn and emotion and time he put forth for her. If the same was done by babes, she would be blasted with gayn-talks and labeled as immature.

- the distance between minnie is created (CD fiasco) and recreated (kickout dhamki) by hanuman but he blames it on babes. He is shown to be struggling. Why? He was so articulated, balanced in handling minnie before marriage? But all those moments he crushed with his foolish behavior. But see at the end all blame all goes to babes. She is called immature, selfish, always looks out for her wants and needs.

- after pushing a child away from seeing her mother (which itself is strange, duh! Should you not try to at least find out what is the cause for her to want to meet her babes at midnight), and even after finding out the cause, he spends whole day without consulting his wife what should be done to fix this fiasco. But the night scene of argument is depicted to bring sympathy for him and more anger against a stupid babes. This is a v unrealistic way of portraying the main 'dhaga' of the show. Yes, we don't want an all problem solving babes, but we also don't want a beautiful character to be portrayed as brainless bug!

- finally why lie to get married? And now why they need to keep on lying? Just to show how immature babes is and how smart Hanuman and minnie are! And then he talks about being honest with each other and eating gur! Oh come on!

- I think babes took amazing steps to solve crucial points: calming down imarti's dad that turned the gear of many people's lives, driving ashok away thereby clearing the path for hanuman to get her which he desperately wanted (remember how tensed he was when he feared that she might get back with ashok), and finally proposing to him after she was 'falsely' assured.... but the depiction of the current event strips her of all credit.

These issues make me think our society is so bent to make the girls act the best and demands the best juice out of them but men have their way out easy....

And being a man I am saying this. I don't think the writers are doing any justice to neither the beautiful babes and nor the stunning actress Pari any good.

Pari should just leave this stupid mess...

Let this show be patiala hannie where minnie and hanuman will live as father daughter happily ever after.

Yeah she’s slapped Mini before too. I am not giving her clean chits. I have never been a supporter of hitting your kids in the name of discipline, but that’s how indian society is. I have been smacked by my parents too in my childhood, I don’t fault them for it. That’s how they were brought up. South Asian society thinks it’s ok to hit your kids to discipline them.

She had shown immense emotional growth, namely forgiving Meeta, giving Ashok an opportunity to go to London and be with Meeta, bidding for her shop and winning, setting up her PB catering services, never faulting HS for when Mini-HS had a tiff during hospital track, not coming in between them and letting them try to solve the problem, giving HS “haq” of baap to discipline Mini, calling out Mini and standing her ground when Mini was stubborn to leave the house, in her own way trying to discipline Mini, taking care of HS’s needs after hospital track like making him food, fixing his wardrobe, making him a embroidery hanky, the whole contemplating her feelings and finally expressing it, trying to stop HS from drinking and ruining his health, standing her ground and jataoing haq.

What does HS do comes and claims himself Mini’s father, and takes a U turn and makes the papaya Mard comment?

She decides to leave the house and offf she’s wrong. Imarti track happens and all that emotional growth down the drain.

The minute they showed gloom over Babita being happy in her married life and not wanting to focus on anything but her loving caring husband HS, I realised that anything that she does won't ever please the writers. Babita's at fault and only she is to blame for. Rest all are just fine.

Mini and HS were making a deal with each other about saving Babes from Khatri.

Babes on the other hand found out about Khatri’s cheating, came up with a plan and removed his partnership.

That was smart too.

When she was sending Ashok back, she showed immense growth. Her body language had a confidence.
During hospital track, she had this posture of confident woman at the same time scared trying to be strong for her daughter. And that Aam scene was love.
During Imarti track, hesitant Body language coz she was hurt with maryada comment. Yet she came around and supported Hanuman.

All this growth down the drain after proposal. Babita has become such an annoying character. It’s unbelievable!

What I found off was when HS mentioned Ashok and said this is our house to Minnie, Babes tells him he crossed a line. They fight and next morning she is doing feather romance with him. I wanted her to just say not to bring Ashok up in any argument but she lets him off the hook. Now she is complaining how he doesn’t understand Minnie then help him! It’s one thing to just complain but another to offer solution.

HS should have also asked Babita what he can do to make up for the forgotten Birthday but he didn’t either. No offer of help.

I used to watch the show from the first episode and what drew me is mother-daughter unique and special bond , both are best friends who understand share each other, even though later HS-Minnie bond is there and even HANITHA bond, but I still love more of Minnie & Babes bond which is still 17 years pain & happiness together, as I have that unqiue bond with my mother, as she is my best friend too now also I share everything with her and she helps me , lift my spirits and encourage me in everyway..

I didn't much angry on Immarti track where babes character is butcherd, but now they even butchered a mother& daughter bond and made babes a egoistic, unrealistic, selfish, dumb, worthless mother and wife. It's good message a daughter giving wings to a mother, but she has to spoon feed her literally in every way and everyone who has to tell how to behave and understand especially your own daughter too...

Is this the real story KK tweet after marriage ? Is this they want to show after 2nd marriage a women, a mother, a wife is being butchered in every sense and nothing is left...The show now became pathetic nor is classic or entertaining as viewers are cheated after marriage all 3 characters are changed drastically. The show giving message don't remarry, it' better to be alone taking care of kid.

Mine was when Mini comes and tells Babes, you are guilty, you have this fear in your mind. This is what you are thinking. Lovely dil ki buri nahi hai.

And when they made Babita apologize to Khuranas. I knew that - This is it. There will never be true growth in Babita’s character. And even when she does do something, decide something on her own, others around her will make her feel guilty and manipulate her to their whims and fancies!

That’s how writers want to proceed! That’s how it’s gonna be. Babita be never right!
