First marriage ho ya second marriage....think through this stuff. Too many people get married simply to get a token companion.....if you don't really take time to know the person you've married and WHY you've married them, it will create more problems inevitably. Ofcourse, you can never know a person fully....lifetime journey lag jaati hai to know someone....but you still need to be clear about your reasonings upfront rather than making sweeping presumptions.

Yes, and that's why NB had that voiceover during the wedding.

I am not sure the average audience member will even take this away. Many would go away with shaadi = siyaape!

What a shame.

if there're offscreen reasons then its acceptable or its a fact that creatives r on high , will take any turn to create enough episodes & let the show running .

Woh aur baat hai that she makes bad choices, bad decisions and he blindly supports her now instead of trying to help her see the bigger picture😕😆.....previous HS had the objectivity to not let her steamroll him with her tantrums and he stood up to her talking nonsense.....this HS is a besotted fool.....he's lost the capacity to think beyond her.

Being a feminist shouldn't mean ki blindly follow everything a woman asks you to do😕

The core problem remains that this relationship is severely imbalanced but sadly neither HS nor Babita seem to get it nor want to do anything about it....."marital bliss" mil gaya toh aage nahin sochna.....lol

@bold, that's my point. This is what's missing.

I am fine with them enjoying marital bliss for short term and long term as long as they find a way to balance other things out. If this is how they plan to go their entire lives, I don't see HS being able to stand it after a point.

Perhaps seeing lack of depth in Babita is making him scale back his expectations and he wants to keep things light and fluffy. This is the impression I get from his recent behavior.

I really am clueless about this.

I see what you mean about him wanting her to be happy, but at some point they will both realize it's not enough to keep things at a superficial level. Hope it's not too late.

Will they? 😆 What do you think will make them realize that?

I don't think that's the intent....the writers seem to think that the current picture of "domestic bliss" is totally fine....nobody points out the lack of substance. All that gets analyzed is chemistry or camera angles😆....or the lack of balance overall.

Unless some big blow-up happens where HS and Babita realize how superficial their relationship actually is now, I don't see anything much changing.

They will only fight over external factors like Mini or the Khuranas....there seems to be no cognizance about the total lack of substance in their own relationship.

Honestly.....now it does feel like they are only producing episodes to keep the show running.....not for any larger storyline.....it's a week by week basis of random drama.

It does, so why did they say the wedding was the start of the real story and not the end.

LOL I don't know about that....his basic expectations of "marital bliss" are being met....who knows, maybe that is all he really wanted on a basic level....basic companionship....a woman's presence in his life. And that doesn't necessarily require depth. I don't know if he's scaling back his expectations....he's honest with her however little he can be....he again told her the other day that she reminded him of his mother....but Babita never responds to any of these bits where he tries to share his state of mind.....all he gets is feather romance and Babita ke haath ka khaana and he's happy enough in that.....lol

To find balance, there needs to be a realization that imbalance exists.....HS seems incapable of realizing that these days. And it would be quite unconvincing to show Babita of all people suddenly realizing the imbalance.....lol
