@bold: This is the sum of Babita as per the show it seems. She is incapable of managing relationships especially when they are falling apart.

In any other scenario, one would expect a mother to step up and manage things. But with Babita, the writers always want to show that she can never be counted on. Her only talent is to make things worse 🤷‍♀️

And Word. No one can prove shit to Babita. But HS is too besotted with her to know this I guess 🤷‍♀️

Yep, that seems to be the message of the show now.

They did after all show HS himself calling Mini a “teesra” between him and Babita when he was frustrated about the honeymoon 🤷‍♀️

What we are being shown now is that HS is incapable of managing things when Babita falters, probably because post marriage, his thoughts are all about appeasement rather than actually being a proper partner.

He also seems incapable of managing Mini when she falters now 🤷‍♀️

All we are being shown is everyone faltering without anyone stepping up to balance. According to the writers, apparently life is an endless imbalance spree 🤷‍♀️....we shouldn’t ever expect anyone in our relationships to be able to step up. Constantly letting each other down is all we can do. Waah.

Why is Babes being shown so thick and stupid ? She was supposed to be independent and all I’ve seen is her depending on HS or Minnie or NB or Khurranas when it serves her purpose

But coming back, for that tic tac toe balance, if one falters, other one needs to step up. And Mini has been wallowing in a lot of things, that she needs to deal with. Maybe she isn't completely right. But, for her the normal was, to come home and chill with her Uncle, and suddenly, he wants to chill with her Mom only and not her? I am not saying this happened, but things could be handled better.

I wouldn't blame the writers at all! When things go wrong, they go horribly wrong. Whatever they are showing is plausible, it happens, it can happen. I am here and I am commenting so fervently because I feel so much after watching it and that's coz they are making it so well! HS is wrong, Babita is wrong, Mini isn't exactly right, not because the writers are shoddy! But because they are excellent in my opinion. Sometimes things go awfully haywire. The issue isn’t that things can’t go horribly wrong in life. The writing is portraying the situations in a deliberately contrived manner.

Mini didn’t expect HS to “chill” with her all the time instead of her mom but the writing is deliberately exaggerating HS’s neglect of her to prove their half baked drama.

The characters have faced many bad situations in the story before also. But it never felt contrived and skewed like it is currently and that’s not cuz of how “real” it is

The imbalance is dragged and contrived right now simply for the sake of drama.

Good writing makes you feel for every character no matter the situation - good or bad. It doesn’t try to twist character traits overnight simply for drama.

You’re telling me that HS suddenly accusing Mini over the CD out of the blue was “good writing” 🙄

Oh no, it was in reference to today's episode alone. That today was good writing. CD shit was wrong. And to be honest, HS post wedding has been slightly off.

Their writing is better than most other ITV shows in general right now.

That doesn’t change the fact that off late they’ve been showing the relationships in a contrived manner and deliberately breaking down communication between characters simply for contrived drama.

HS is the most recent casualty. So for me, it’s really not good writing these days 🤷‍♀️
