She has already been that though. Whether it was giving up on her preferred college and by proxy her dream of becoming a professional photographer, not sitting in the exams so that she can get Babes some comfy shoes (this one pissed me off a lot), or pawning off her scooter - Minnie has constantly been making sacrifices for her mother.

What's annoying me right now is that she doesn't need to be making sacrifices. As you had mentioned, they're doing financially well and can afford to buy some decent clothes, so why not go for it?

It was a nice episode today. Liked it how it was only small family Roka and Chunni ceremony.

Loved the chat with HS and Mini, glad that voiced out how no one is happy.

But Babita really needs to shake out of this Victim mood now, she needs to speak clearly with the people who hurt here, like Lovely and Bheeji, I feel that once she tackles the past with them will she than move on. Otherwise sadly she will bring this past baggage with and its not good for the 2nd Marriage or HS.

I read that someone wrote that HS is too responsible for her hurt. HS did it once only when he was under stress but she has done it many times.

I really can't stomach it anymore if she carries on like this.

I am glad Lovely is back. Babita and Minnie need closure on many aspects of their life, and having it out with Lovely will help them get rid of some of the latent frustration and pain they have felt over the years. They are no longer restricted by the bonds of marriage and will finally be able to act upon it I feel.

In the process, I also think they will understand why Lovely behaves the way she does, how Sukhi and her childlessness and previous financial status hurt her self-esteem, so that she took it out on mother-daughter. I am hoping they will have a throwback to the scene where she was being mean to Meeta and when Beeji and she had a heart-to-heart regarding her feeling incomplete as a woman and putting up with society's taunts because she couldn't have children. Not to mention, living with her parents even after marriage must have given the neighbors and relatives plenty to taunt her about.

Lovely is representative of a lot of women who deal with insecurities and low self-esteem by putting others down as a defense mechanism. I am not saying they should forget what she did or pretend as if nothing happened, but understanding Lovely's perspective will definitely ease some of mother-daughter's hurt. I know I sound like I am expecting a lot from CVs in tackling this issue in this manner but they have spoiled me with the sensitivity they have shown with various characters so far.

Yeah they had a celebration for 100 episodes.

Yes, Lovely is brought up for this exact reason. Lot of those frustrations from all those taunts needs to come out. esp. from Babita. But, is this the "bachpan ki ganth" that HS is talking about? I mean would it really be bachpan when this happened after Babita got married? Maybe theres more to her bachpan, something to do with her parents.

HS also mentioned something about once certain concepts get settled in your brain from childhood, they stay there for a long time.

Same and I honestly don't mind it. I'm actually looking forward to when it happens. There are some things that Babita will feel comfortable sharing only with HS rather than Minnie and that's how it should be. Despite what she says, Minnie is still too young to fully understand the intricacies of human relationships.

Yeah, same looking forward to when Babita and HS will truly understand each other completely. They will not need Mini at that point to mediate. Definitely there would be lots that they can only say to each other, and not involve Mini in it. I actually wanna see them reach that point. You are correct, Mini is too young to understand all of that.

Also, mini needs to focus on her own life after this wedding, and let HS and Babita deal with each other.
