The reason that she gave was not realistic and convincing enough... and Like maybe her life would have been saved if she were to get the treatment right away. Also the whole accusation against HS... there is no case at all. I can’t connect to this story at all. I think this was the most awaited track, but it was very poorly handled by the cvs.

It also feels kinda rushed. If they had the court case, I would understand but this type of handling is strange for PB.

Yes, it definitely does. It would have been a better story if they showed HS’s father accidentally pushed Imarti from the stairs in a drunken state and she dies due to that. HS was there but couldn’t save her. HS’s dad blames HS because of misunderstanding and files a case against him. At least there would be a court case. This whole culpable homicide for a medical reason doesn’t make sense.

It seems they were thinking of going one direction but completely changed the story in between and want to finish off the track. Is it because of TRP and Channel pressure?

Who knows?! They botched up the Meeta track and now this. I am disappointed because this was the track I was most looking forward to.

I know that other shows are far worse, but these CVs have spoiled us with their high standards from the beginning so even a 19-20 seems strange from them.

Yes, Meeta’s track was also weirdly handled but at least the good thing that came out of it was Babita fully letting go of Ashok. Like she said she doesn’t even have hatred for him anymore. That must have been very empowering for Babita so I appreciate writers outlook with that track.

However, this Imarti’s death track just doesn’t make sense to me... especially culpable homicide for medical reasons. I can’t foresee what they are trying to show with this.

I am sorry if I sound rude but have you ever been operated? I have. 12 so far. And still, whenever I have to undergo an operation, it freaks me out like anything. I make 101 million excuses only to avoid the operation. No matter how strong, how fearless you are, an operation is another story altogether. So you might not find it realistic, I do. I understand the fear, the unwillingness and trying out all methods possible only to not be operated.

So no, this track was not handled poorly... at least as far as Imarti's death is concerned.

The disappointment is because we all were expecting a huge dramatic reason and it turned out to be so simple. :) Strange isn't it. When we expect something simpler, the CVs get dramatic, and when CVs get simpler, it disappoints us...

I get what you are saying about fear of surgeries. It's understandable and Imarti was vulnerable in that state. Their love was not meant to be rational, it was all consuming.

I wasn't disappointed about the reason. It's perfectly in line with the PB style. It's the whole court case for culpable homicide that won't happen after all ... I feel that could have been avoided, as could have been the bit where HS decides to push mother-daughter away by being harsh with both of them. I know this was because they wanted to show Minnie understanding him and taking a stand for him as his daughter, going against her mother, but she could have done so even as he relived memories of Imarti.

I am sorry to hear that. Hope you are doing ok now.

No, I have not been operated so yes, I might not understand it as well you do. I am talking merely as a viewer of this show. I understand Imarti was scared... but I feel it could have been handled a lot better. Firstly, they didn’t even tell us what stage the tumor was in. Maybe they could have done thorough research and seen a specialist, and if all had fail, then I would understand why she was scared to go through the operation. For me, I couldn’t connect to it. Maybe I also felt that way because of what Imari’s father accuses of HS.

I am fine and thank you. My health issue was not life-threatening but then an operation is an operation. I wasn't meaning to bring up my surgeries but it offended me. I have been going through surgeries when I was a 3-month-old baby and my last surgery was when I was 28. I still remember how freaked out I was when I had entered the OT. Those lights, that bed, those masked doctors.... and trust me, I am a brave, outspoken person myself!

I guess what offended me was that seriousness of operation was being equated by fearlessness. Someone who stands up for the right is brave and all doesn't mean you are brave when it comes to surgery. Hell, anyone who has gone multiple surgeries doesn't necessarily mean is brave enough to face more...

The whole point is that Imarti's fear of OT and her nature are two very different things...

I understand that the logic of culpable homicide just doesn't fit well but I guess the makers are still telling the story! So far, they've not ignored logic and I don't think they will ignore it now too.
