Hey Guys -
Yesterday, here in Canada, saw Elesh at the Mall ... Seems he is finished with filming this serial?
I was in a store, and he walked in. I thought he looked familiar, but didn't realize until I looked again that it was him.
I will tell you that seeing someone in person changes your attitude him. I was a big fan of his during Rakhi's Swayamvar, but got disgusted after all teh contriversy and Rakhi saying that he was not the right fit for her. I started to believe what others were telling me - that it was all rigged, and the producers had chosen Elesh to be the winner before the show even began!
I didn't even attempt to watch this show, although I saw previews, but was just generally disgusted with the whole thing.
Anyway - Elesh does look much better in person. He has slimmed down a bit and is looking healthier than on television. But, he had an air of being stuck up a bit which I didn't like. When he spoke in English to the clerk in the store, or in Gujrati to his friend, I felt as if he was thinking everyone knows who he is.
I didn't make an attempt to talk to him - although I was thinking of courting him for an interview to send to one of the local newspapers (I am a journalist by hobby after studying jounalism!), but after seeing him, I lost interest.
