My mom and sister ask same question every time they watch PPAW.......She acts all being good bahu and shit, but she can't be a good mom nor wife in my opinion....poor guy, sometimes felt so bad for him when she was acting all lazy a**.

well Chooda is a North Indian (basically Punjabis (hindus and sikhs) and rajputs) bridal wear and it is gifted by the maternal uncles................ you are supposed to wear them for 40 days (sawa maheena) and take it off on the 40th day or reduce it in size (this rasam is done by nanad).......... but if you decide not to, then technically you have to wear it 1 year and 4 months (sawa saal).... but girls these days usually reduce it in size or even take it off the very next day or so...... or if they pass 40 days, then they just take it off whenever they want.......... but traditionally it is sawa maheena or sawa saal...... (as per my granny).......
I have been wearing mine for 6 months.........and intend to complete sawa saal........ I am emotionally attached to this chooda now..... and I think people at work here are attached to it more than me.... coz whenever I tell them that I will eb tkaing it off next year......... their expression goes Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo😆

what do you mean by annoying????????? Chooda is the most beautiful thing for a North Indian Bride and we adore it a lot!!!!!! she is controlling and dominating........... her husband knows adn acknowledgs that part..... he even mentioned it when they were giving the baby back...... if he doesnt have a problem with her......... why should we have a problem with her??????????
And about chooda...... please do not call it annoying...........it means a lot to us.........
