The Five celebrity couples arrive at their new homes in Aguada Anchorage in Goa. As they reach, they meet host Sharad Kelkar and pick the keys to their respective houses. Thereafter, they find a puja thaal at their doorstep along with a customized name plate so that they can do Grihapravesh. Each couple performs a Grihapravesh ceremony in their own way and they enter their new homes ' they are very happy with the homes that they have been provided. Once they have entered, they all begin to unpack and settle down ' most of them have got their own pictures to put up ' Sachin gives Juhi a surprise ' she had forgotten to carry a picture of theirs ' he packs it in without her knowledge. Debina and Gurmeet separate the two joint beds as they are an unmarried couple ' Rakhi also tells Elesh that they cannot sleep on the same bed as they are not married. The couples are shocked to find that they have only been provided with rations that will last them for three days ' Debina cribs that they have not been provided with brown rice, Rakhi cribs that the milk provided is not the brand that she uses. Soon after settling in, they begin to cook ' while some go the easy way and prepare instant noodles, some make an elaborate lunch. Many of the men are making their first attempts at household work. Just when they are settling down ' they receive a surprise package at their door step. What will the package contain???

The couples discover that the surprise package is an empathy belly ' which is a pregnancy simulator. It weighs 15 kgs and enables an individual to experience all the joys and pains that a pregnant woman undergoes - Most of the couples are shocked as they have seen nothing like it before. Debina is disgusted and makes a big fuss about how she will not wear it ' Rakhi is flabbergasted that it weighs 20 kilos. The men are instructed to wear the belly for the first 20 minutes so that they can experience what their partner will have to go through. There are lot of fun moments when the men wear the bellies ' the women laugh at them etc. Soon it is time for the women to wear the bellies ' but they find it extremely painful. Shilpa, due to her acute back problem, cannot wear the belly ' so Apurva decides to wear it instead of her. Juhi begins to have a breathing problem because of the belly and calls in a doctor- later she removes some weights from the belly ' all through Sachin is a caring husband as he even massages her feet for her. Finally all the four women wear the belly ' though Mouni and Debina take it out and wear it on and off. The couples then receive a letter that there will be a goad-bharaai ceremony in the evening ' they are even sent traditional clothes for the same. At the ceremony, Sharad applauds Apurva for taking on his wife's burden and he calls Rakhi 'Superwoman' as she is the only one who has not taken off the belly even for a second. The men then step aside (except Auprva) and Swati Chitnis arrives for the goad-bharaai ' She does Goad-bharaai for all of them and they also do goad-bharaai for one another.

Episode 3
Arrival of Infants

The previous night has been painful due to the empathy belly ' Rakhi has been the only one who has worn it all through. Elesh is trying to make breakfast when Rakhi tells him that she is very lucky to have him as he is very broad-minded and doesn't believe that only women should be doing all the work. Rakhi and Elesh have a cute romantic moment as they dance in the kitchen. Juhi is very irritated with the empathy belly and says that she cannot break her back for it ' says that if it is compulsory then her husband should be made to wear it. Everyone is making attempts to cook with the limited rations and facilities that are available ' Juhi-Sachin get into a small argument on cooking/cleaning. Sharad finally comes and tells the couples that they can remove the empathy bellies ' most of the couples are thrilled and immediately start taking the belly off ' Rakhi is the only one who says that the empathy belly was like a real baby to her. The couples receive materials for the baby ' bed sheets, toys etc and begin to prepare for the arrival of the infants. Finally the real parents arrive with the infants ' Shilpa and Apurva are shocked as they are given twins. The couples are briefed by the parents about their respective baby's habits. Likes, dislikes ' they also tell the couples to follow the rule book provided to them in case of any doubts. As the real parents leave, many of the babies start crying and the couples start their journey with the infants.

Episode 4
Couple's first night with the infants

It is the first night that the infants are spending in the new homes. Jay begins to cry uncontrollably ' Rakhi and Elesh try feeding, entertaining and finally after a lot of effort manage to put him to sleep. But he wakes up again after sometime and continues crying ' Jay's mother is unable to tolerate it any longer and comes over to Rakhi-Elesh's house and gives them tips on how they should feed Jay and what they should do to get him to stop crying. Juhi-Sachin take Rudransh out for a stroll in the night as he keeps crying ' they manage to pacify him. One of the twins, Ayaan, takes more time to adjust and Shilpa is unable to get him to eat ' finally the parents arrive and feed Ayaan and give Shilpa Apurva tips on how to deal with their twins. Gaurav and Mouni struggle with changing Shaurya's diaper and it takes them a while to figure out how to go about it. Debina-Gurmeet try to pacify Veronica with toys ' which her parents feel is only irritating her when she is actually sleepy ' finally Veronica sleeps off in Debina's arms. Shaurya, who has otherwise been a happy baby, too, begins to vry ' his mother comes and explains to Gaurav-Mouni that he needed a simple diaper change and so her was crying ' Mouni too, begins to cry as she is unable to see Shaurya crying

Episode 5

Rakhi has finally managed to make a connection with Jay ' she wakes up early because of him and does a lot of things to entertain him ' she sings for him, dances for him and even sits on Elesh's back along with Jay playing horse ' Elesh however, has been unable to make that connection and Jay keeps crying around Elesh. Debina and Gurmeet make a few mistakes ' they try to get Veronica to pee outside the house and do potty on a garbage bag as they are unable to get her to do it in the loo. Sachin wakes up early morning and tends to Rudransh as Juhi decides to sleep late. Juhi invites Shilpa-Apurva for lunch as they have twins and she wants to help them out. Mouni struggles as she is not used to make rotis ' finally Gaurav makes better rotis. Debina Gurmeet have a little tiff as Gurmeet feels that Debina is making him do all the work. All the couples receive Rs. 3,000 to go shopping ' it is the last amount that they will receive ' henceforth, they will have to earn their living. All the couples set out for shopping ' only Shilpa-Apurva don't go ' they give their list to Juhi-Sachin. The couples are careful about spending as they know they have limited means ' they look at price tags, ask for discounts and think twice whether they really need something etc. which they would otherwise not do.

Episode 6
Arrival of the letter about work

The previous episode the couples had been given 3000/- rupees to go and buy stuff for the house as after this they will have to work to earn money. They come back to find the letter about work along with the uniforms for the next day's job. The couples have to decide who out of them goes to work. They are told that money would be deducted if they skip work.
The jobs assigned were :
- Gurmeet- Debina : Housekeeping in a hotel
- Juhi ' Sachin : Housekeeping in a hotel
- Rakhi- Elesh : Job of a chef in a hotel
- Mouni- Gaurav : Job of a chef in a hotel

Apurva ' Shilpa get to work at home as they have been given twins. They have to make flash cards for play school kids. Debina refuses to take up the housekeeping job therefore the onus falls on Gurmeet. While at Mouni- Gaurav's house it's obvious that Gaurav will go to work. Elesh ' Rakhi decide that this week Elesh will go to work while Rakhi will work the next week. Juhi ' Sachin are concerned that they'll have to work separately. Juhi decides to stay at home while Sachin decides to help her out in the night so that they can manage all chores and go to bed earlier. Mouni ' Gaurav's house : Shaurya has an upset stomach and potties on the bed sheet while Mouni's feeding him. He has pottied at least 5 times during the entire day and they don't know how to handle the situation. Intervention from the mother takes place as she instructs them on how to take care of the baby. Juhi informs Sachin that she won't be able to make rotis in the morning for lunch for him therefore Sachin suggests that she pack his breakfast for him and he'll manage with that and some fruits. Mouni- Gaurav visit Rakhi- Elesh and the men discuss their apprehensions about doing a good job at work the next day. Rakhi- Elesh are helpful and they pack some khichdi ( that Rakhi's made) for Mouni- Gaurav for the next day. (friendly neighbor angle). Elesh calls up his mother and tells her that he has now realized how difficult her job was as a mother and takes tips from her to deal with a colic baby. Mouni makes her parents talk to Shaurya on the phone while Gurmeet discusses the pangs of taking care of an infant and his job the next day. Both Rakhi and Gurmeet talk about the lack of sleep. Rakhi calls up her friend to pray for her, Elesh and the fact that the baby doesn't cry. Rakhi is tired of taking care of the baby, lack of sleep, not having enough food and her back hurting. Elesh finds himself helpless as the baby only connects with Rakhi and he can't do anything to help her. Rakhi breaks down at the stress. Jay's mother comes and tells her that she's taking very good care of the baby. Rakhi feels encouraged with her praises. Parental intervention at Juhi's house for not making the baby wear his night suit and leaving the baby in a ganji in an air conditioned room. She points out the things that were written in the manual and are not being followed like his medicines that need to be given on a regular basis. Juhi is upset that Sachin who had read the manual didn't tell her about it.

Episode 7

Episode 8
First day at work and couples manage work and home

In the previous episode the couples were informed about going to work. But in the night baby Rudransh wakes up in Sachin ' Juhi's house and Sachin gets up to take of Rudransh. Early morning the letter arrives about informing the couples about leaving for work on time and women are told to take their child to the temple. Rakhi refuses to go to the temple as she has converted to Chirstianity. Juhi wakes up and is grumpy about having to manage so much in the morning. She makes Sachin a cold sandwich and says that if she's not ready she'll go to mandir in her night suit itself. Morning reality in all houses as they all struggle to get ready for work and manage household chores as well. Mouni is sleeping while Gaurav gets ready and packs his own dabba. Elesh is upset that he's not getting any feedback on how to manage Jay- he thinks she only refers to Rakhi because Rakhi's the celebrity. He preferred she would tell him also on what to do. Rakhi informs that in India it's a woman's job to take of the child no one expects anything from men. Elesh leaves for work in a huff. Men arrive at work where they are given instructions about their job. Gaurav learns to make dosas and Elesh learns how to make egg preparation at the breakfast counter. Sachin and Gurmeet start with ironing the laundered clothes. Sachin gets pulled up by his supervisor for not buttoning his uniform shirt. Gurmeet comments that he had never ironed so many clothes in his entire life like he did in one hour. Sachin is pleased with his first ironed shirt and refers to it as his first khari kamai. Juhi find it difficult shuttling between a crying baby and cooking in the house. Shilpa gets visitors in her house. Mouni- Shilpa discuss Rakhi's struggle with Jay but are impressed when Rakhi lands in and they find that she has managed to connect with Jay. Juhi and Debina go to the temple and Shilpa takes one of the twins with her while Apurva takes care of the other. Sachin- Gurmeet struggle with the housekeeping job where they have to make the beds- as they struggle with it they get delayed for lunch and are left with lesser to finish it. Rakhi does make up for Jay and tries to make him a Krishna. Mother is upset that he's not wearing enough clothes and has not been given a bath either. Elesh cuts his finger while trying to chop vegetables.

Rakhi cries as she misses Elesh while at home. Parental intervention at Apurva Elesh's house for not giving them their medicines as mentioned in the manual, one twin not being given a bath, letting the kids sleep all day as they would be troublesome during the night and dressing the kids up properly. Debina makes a blunder by leaving the sleeping Veronica alone in the house and going to Mouni's house for a chat and inviting her to come over for tea. Mouni refuses saying that her baby is sleeping and she can't leave him. In the meanwhile Veronica wakes up and parents are upset as they don't think leaving the child alone in the house is acceptable. Debina refuses to accept her mistake and is confrontational with the parents. She thinks that she has not done anything wrong. Men return from work and are happy to get home. Gaurav shares happy moments with Mouni and the baby. They play with baby Shaurya and discuss the day at work . Juhi hugs Sachin as soon as he enters and hands over the baby to Sachin as soon as he arrives. Romantic moments between Rakhi-Elesh as she is happy to see him and they discuss hi day at work . Rakhi says "when she saw Elesh, she realize how much she had missed him". Debina discusses the day's events with Gurmeet. Gurmeet agrees that she should not have left the baby alone and it's not a responsible behavior. Debina realizes her mistake and says she'll be extra careful from now on. Debina and Juhi get an invite for the spa. Juhi says if she went then their won't be dinner to eat. Sachin tells her to go as Rudransh can only be with her. Debina tells Gurmeet to wash the utensils while she's gone. Both women head out to the spa. Rakhi- Elesh try to entertain Baby Jay- they dance and sing songs. Rakhi makes efforts to entertain him and put him to sleep but he refuses to sleep. Rakhi tells him that she's upset that she cooked in the house while he ate at work. This was obvious as he's saying that he's not hungry. She says unlike in Canada where couples do their own thing separately - eat on their own - in India you must assert your presence in each other's life and therefore he should have asked for food when he came back from work. They share food together and engage in an amusing banter about doing things together in the house, eating food together and swapping responsibilities.
