Episode 19

All the parents come and pick up their children from the sleepover – but Sachin and Juhi have overslept and do not reach in time – Jagruti's parents come and reprimand Sachin for the same – he then goes and brings Jagruti back home

Diwali Shopping

A letter arrives telling all the couples that the children will go for Diwali shopping with their respective fathers
All the fathers and kids set out shopping and buy toys, crackers etc.
Apurva is unable to find a full superman costume that Lakshya wants and is not very keen on spending too much money
Elesh, Sachin and Gaurav have a good time with their kids while shopping
Gurmeet keeps haggling everywhere
Gurmeet buys a single red rose for Debina while Elesh gets Rakhi an entire bouquet

Back at home

Meanwhile, the women receive a letter that says that they will be preparing a Diwali surprise for their husbands
Rakhi is unwell and a doctor is called (there is no one to make tea for Rakhi so she asks the doctor to make tea for her! – of course he does not actually make it himself)
Mouni is also unwell – but both of them pop pills and leave for the surprise task
The women are taken to the same resort where their spouses work – here they meet choreographer Javed
He tells them that he will choreograph a dance for them on 'Bole Chudiyaan' which they will perform for the husbands at the Diwali party in the evening
During the rehearsal, Shilpa develops cold feet at having to prepare and perform in such a short time – the other women try to convince her that she can do it

Celebrity Guests arrive

Meanwhile, unknown to the couples, their celebrity friends Shweta and Manav Gohil and Tina and Hussain Kuwajerwala arrive
They secretly watch the women rehearsing and talk about how tough everything must be

Episode 21

The Diwali party had gotten over and everyone came home happy and content but suddenly at 4am in the morning, the director of the show is called to Mouni-Gaurav's house because Mouni has decided to leave the show and the reasons that she is giving is not making any sense to anyone.

The new day begins with all the families waking up one by one….

Juhi, Sachin and Pragiti have woken up, they have their breakfast and go swimming and they make a perfect loving family.
Rakhi and Elesh have woken up before Lakshya and over a cup of tea they have a lovey-dovey conversation and soon get into a fun physical fight over the various styles of martial arts – they go upstairs into the bed room and soon the conversion shifts to a serious note where Rakhi tells Elesh that she saw him looking at someone else in the Diwalli party and he is hiding something from her …. Since elesh wants to talk to her in private he takes her into the bathroom
We hear them fighting over mouni in the Bathroom and Elesh even tells her that if she wants him to leave her she should just say so but accuse him or insult him
Finally they come out of the bathroom, apologize and make up

The letter arrives where they are told that their child has to make an Arts & Crafts project.

Shilpa's kid Lakshya has to make a decorative bangle box
Debin'a kid Kirti has to make a night landscape
Juhi's kid Jagruti has to make puppets
Raki's kid Kuber has to make an animal park.

Rakhi makes breakfast for Kuber and she and Elesh get into a discussion on how will they could make the Animal park and what all will they use to make it. (Very entertaining)

Debina gives Gurmeet and Kirti all the instructions and they make the project while she prepares their lunch, she is dominating but very efficient and good at multitasking.

Shilpa gets busy with making the decorative bangle box and does not bother to get Lakshya involved in it at all, even though it is his project. Shilpa and Apoorva are not bonding with their son Lakshya and he keeps insisting on going home…. Lakshya's parents do not like this attitude of Shilpa and Apoorva, they feel that Shilpa is so engrossed in the project that she has completely neglected their son, they say that they their energy level is very low with the kid and they are not interacting enough with him - they are very upset with Apoorva and Shilpa.

Episode 22

The letter of the Visit to the Science Museum arrives – it's a holiday for all the papa's today and besides the fun visit the parents must also keep in mind that the kids learn something.

Rakhi and Elesh start teaching Kuber various thing about science – at what temperature is ice formed? Who was the 1st man on the moon? (Fun stuff)
At Mouni and Gaurav's home they have breakfast and Gaurav gets Fateh ready.
Soon all the families leave for the Museum.

At the museum all the families see the various exhibits and have good fun,

Some parents try to teach a thing or two to the kids others are busy having fun with the kids.
Shilpa and Apoorva keep trying to get Lakshya to come along with them but he keeps going to Kuber (Rakhi-Elesh's kid) – he is more happy to be with them rather than Apoorva and Shilpa
Shilpa says that she has given up and does not know what to do with him, Apoorva also feels that he has tried his level best but nothing has worked.

When it is time to go home Lakshya begins to cry because again he has to get separated from Kuber. At home Shilpa tries to explain to lakshya that he cannot always be with Kuber but Lakshya does not respond.

A letter arrives which tells them about the Magic Show – but if they want to go they will need to pay for it. (Rs 250/- per family) All the families are happy especially the kids.

Shilpa says that she would spend any amount of money to see a smile on Lakshya's face and keep him entertained. They decide to go.
Kuber wants to go for the magic show, Rakhi says no they will instead stay at home and play board games, Kuber is happy and agrees.
Juhi and Jagruti ask Debina's daughter Kirti if they are going for the magic show and Gurmeet explains that it is too much for them to spend and they are not going.

All the couples and kids get ready and leave for the Magic show and since Gurmeet's family is not going Gurmeet decides to become a magician himself and perform various magic tricks for Debina and Kirti (very sweet and entertaining) – but finally Debina says that they will all go for the magic show and so they all get ready and leave.

At the Magic Show the kids and the couples have a great time, even Lakshaya is very happy and entertained even though Kuber is not there. Gurmeet, Debina and Kirti join in late but have a good time.

At Rakhi and Elesh's home, they have just finished playing a board game with Kuber and Kuber goes up to his room… Rakhi and Elesh fool around and they get physical with each other and Kuber's mother who is watching all this public display from the viewing bay totally disapproves of it, so she and her husband come to Rakhi and Elesh's house and she talks takes to them about their Public display of affections.

Its late at night and as all the parents are putting their children to sleep they get a letter that this is the last night with the kids and must get the kids ready by 9:30am tomorrow morning – all the couples get emotional and sad.

Episode 23

The couples wake up the kids, get them ready and pack their things.

Rakhi tells Elesh that hence forth they will reduce their cuddling in front of the kids – she is upset that every time they get settled its time for the kids to leave. Soon Rakhi gets after Kuber to drink his milk, even sings a song for him but he refuses to drink.
Juhi also gets Jagruti ready, Sachin has packed all her things – Juhi is feeling very bad because she had gotten very attached to Jagruti
Gurmeet makes a funny sketch of Kirti and they laugh, Debina gets her ready and makes her have her breakfast
At Mouni and Gaurav's home they are having breakfast with Fateh and tell him that some surprise is going to be coming for him.
Shilpa feeds Lakshaya breakfast and they pack all his stuff

The parents come to collect their children:

Rakhi-Elesh's home

Kubers mother tells Rakhi that she is dominating and she needs to give the child more space – Rakhi says that no matter how old the child becomes she will always treat him like a child.
The mother praises Elesh and says he did a wonderful job and he can handle kids very very well.
Kubers mother also says that their house is the most entertaining and the best house.

Shilpa's Apoorva's home

Lakshaya parents say that their level of interaction was very low and they did not interacting enough with their son.
Shilpa says that Lakshaya never played with them though she kept trying, he always packed up his toys – Lakshya never got attached to them, he always wanted Kuber. Shilpa also says that she has worked for 4 years with a play school and she never faced a problem with the other 3 stages of kids that were given to her but this age group has been a failure for her since she could not get attached to him and she does not know why.
Lakshay's father is ready to bet that if Lakshya was given to any of the other 4 couples, he would be completely different from what he was with Apoorva and Shilpa
Lakshay's mother says that Shilpa will not make a good parent.

Debina and Gurmeet's Home

Debina and Gurmeet tell Kirti's parents that Kirti's biggest fear is to go out for any party and that they must encourage Kirti to go out for activates so that she does not become an introvert.

Mouni and Gaurav's house

Fateh's parents come and tell them that Gaurav and Mouni that they were exactly like how they are at home with Fateh.

Juhi and Sachin's house

Jagruti's mother tells them that they taught a lot of things to Jagruti that they sometimes forget to teach her and they were very happy about that.
Also the mother tells Juhi that they kept fulfilling her wish which was not needed at times – the mother saw the mother daughter bonding which really touched her.

Finally all the parents leave with their kids

Episode 24 Rakhi & Elesh Special

The kids have left with their parents in the previous episode and this is what is happening post their departure:

Rakhi is very upset and wants to know what "giving space"means and why did they call her dominating. Elesh explains to her and tells her that that was Kuber's mother's opinion and when they have their own kids they will bring them up their way and she does not need to get upset because she and he have done a good job and they know that.
Meanwhile the other couples have gone out shopping and haggle over the cost of things.
At home Rakhi is now in a better mood and she wants to play a reality show with Elesh with soft toys ' they show has Abhishek Awasti, Elesh's ex girlfriend, Bunglow nos 3 (Mouni's house), Mika, Kashmira Shah. (Very very entertaining)
A little pug comes with a letter which informs the couples that the next stage of kids (Pre Teens 2) that will be coming tomorrow, will come with their pets.
Shilpa is so happy to see the pug that she ends up crying bitterly thinking about her doogie at home, before going the dog pees on the leg of the dining table
At all the other homes the couples are also very excited with the pug.
But at Rakhi's home, Rakhi is petrified of the dog and she hides in one corner as the dog keeps barking at her ' very funny conversation about Elesh's dog and Rakhi

Episode 26

The couples get a letter saying that the new set of children would be arriving soon and that the working partners would have an off so that the entire family can go for a picnic together.
Rakhi and Elesh make a list of 'House Rules' that the children have to follow and put them up on the wall
The ens set of children arrive
Juhi-Sachin welcome brothers Varun and Siddhant and their dog Spiky ' Spiky immediately does potty inside the house which Juhi has to clean up
Rakhi is very pleased that she does not get a pet to care for ' she makes the three girls read the rules of the house
All the parents then leave their children
Sarthak locks Gaurav out of the house and then drops his bag near Gaurav's foot ' when Gaurav tries to explain to him that he is here to have fun and if he wants to misbehave, he can leave, Sarthak takes his bags and walks out of the house
Sarthak's mother then asks him to say sorry and go back ' when he returns, Gaurav talks to him very nicely and explains that they can be friends
Shilpa is extremely happy because after her experience with Lakshya, she got Pakhi, who seems like a sweet girl ' and she also has the dog, Dodo!
The new kids are settling in ' Gaurav takes the boys swimming, Rakhi teaches the girls some cooking
Debina is disgusted because Chubby (the dog) is peeing and doing potty inside the house and she makes Gurmeet clean it
All the house are busy preparing their picnic baskets and getting ready ' Rakhi does make-up for the girls
All the families leave for the picnic

Episode 27

All the families go for a picnic ' the picnic spot is at a bit of a height; so many of them get tired climbing up ' Juhi especially talks about how she is not adventurous and hence is not enjoying herself
All the families sit and have the snacks that that they have carried
Parth begins to feel unwell and even throws up ' Gurmeet is very worried while Debina just sits around. Finally, after consulting with the doctor, Gurmeet takes his family and heads back home since Parth Is constantly crying
Back home, Parth is not consoled and hence his mother stops by at the house ' she feels that he is crying more out of anxiety than pain ' she gives him a painkiller and after seeing his mother, Parth is back to his usual self again
At the picnic, Sachin-Juhi's family and Gaurav-Mouni's family play cricket while Rakhi-Elesh play football with the girls. There is also a girls vs. boys tug-o-war which the girls win
The rest of the families return home after a tiring and yet fun day at the picnic
The couples get a letter stating that they will be a family vs. family dance competition day after tomorrow for which all the celeb-mothers must participate with the children and the celeb-fathers can participate if they want ' the letter also mentions that Saroj Khan will be one of the judges along with some other celebrities ' many of the celebrities are excited and yet nervous because 'masterji' will be coming
Along with the letter is also a CD of the song on which the couples will themselves have to choreograph the dance
The songs that the couples get are as follows:
- Juhi-Sachin ' Bum Bum Bole
- Debina-Gumeet ' Dhan Te Nan
- Mouni-Gaurav ' Love Mera Hit Hit
- Rakhi-Elesh ' Bhangra Bistar
- Shilpa-Apurva ' Dance Pe Chance
Gaurav-Mouni get very offended because Gaurav feels that he and Mouni are known as a dancing couple and feels it was not fair that him dancing is only optional
Rakhi gets irritated with Elesh because she is sleeping and he plays the song (she thinks that it is playing on TV and runs down to see)
Juhi-Sachin and family and Debina-Gurmeet and family excitedly start dancing, discussing the choreography etc. (Parth, who was unwell, is absolutely fine now)
Shilpa-Apurva are very happy because Pakhi has already learnt a choreography for this song previously
Rakhi, too, who was earlier irritated, is in full spirits and begins rehearsing with her family
The couples then receive another letter which states that the women will now be going to work while the men will have to not only take care of children but will also have to do part time jobs as follows:
- Sachin ' swimming coach
- Elesh ' P.T. teacher
- Apurva ' Singing Teacher
- Gurmeet ' Martial Arts instructor
- Gaurav ' Dance teacher
The men would have to take class only for an hour everyday from 10:30 to 11:30 in the morning and would be paid Rs. 100 for every student that attends.
The catch is that one child can go only for one class at a time and hence, the men are required to give a small talk to try and convince the children to join their class
All the men given interesting talks ' most of the students opt for swimming and few opt for singing. Gaurav and Elesh get one student each for dance while Gurmeet, despite his interesting presentation, does not get any students

Episode 28

The women are getting ready for their first day at work ' Rakhi is shocked that she has to work in a shopping centre; she feels that people will surround her for autographs instead of purchasing the goods in the shop
Juhi screams at Sachin because he was to make breakfast for her before she left for work; but he was out playing cricket with the boys ' she further reprimands him for not wearing his prescribed spectacles
All the women leave for work

Women at Work

Rakhi and Juhi

Rakhi and Juhi are working at the same supermarket
Rakhi turns out to be a great saleswoman as she goes out of her way to please the customers and sell the products ' she uses her wit and charm and impresses many customers as well as the store supervisor
Juhi on the other hand is very passive. She knows that the number of sales she makes will not affect her salary and hence is very laidback and does not smile or greet the customers or make an added effort

Debina and Mouni

Debina and Mouni are working at the same shopping arcade ' Debina is handling the men's section while Mouni is handling the women's and kid's section
Mouni gets a bit irritated because she feels that the supervisor is making her do things for the heck of it while the other sales staff is not being told to do anything
Debina sits down on the floor and talks about how it is only now that she realizes how difficult the job is ' she says that never again will she pick out or try on clothes if she does not have any intention of buying

Shilpa

Shilpa is working at FabIndia and is a bit irritated because no one is coming shopping due to the rain and hence there are no customers

Men Back at home

With a few exceptions, the children decide to learn whatever the celeb fathers are coaching in order to support the family
Apurva is conducting his music class, Elesh is conducting his P.T. class (where Ananya is trying to be mischievous) and Gaurav is conducting his dance class
Gurmeet, who does not have any students, ends up doing martial arts for the dog
The women then come back home and discuss how their day was ' Rakhi tells her girls how Juhi was telling her not to smile as there was no need to really sell anything

Juhi-Sachin argument

Sachin takes the boys shopping and purchases some pasta and a cake (for the dog Spiky's birthday) ' in the process he spends about Rs. 300 on the cake and about Rs. 125 on the pasta
When Juhi returns home, and hears about this ' she gets very upset and has an argument with Sachin
The parents of the boys who are watching this from the preview bay do not like the fact that Juhi is reprimanding Sachin in front of the boys and that too, about a financial issue
Hence, they intervene and explain to Sachin that the financial issues should not be brought out in front of children as it has a negative impact on them ' the parents should be able to take charge and sort out their issues between themselves
The parents, in their byte, mention that if the mother shouts at the father in front of the children, then the children lose respect for the father

Episode 29

The families receive a letter stating that there will be a sports day in which all the families have to participate
They all start preparing for the sports day ' they get t-shirts for their respective teams
The families get ready and leave for sports day - Juhi has a backache and has caught a chill and hence decides to skip sports day ' the doctor visit her and gives her medication
Each family has been assigned a colour of house
- Juhi-Sachin and family ' Red House
- Debina-Gurmeet and Family ' Blue House
- Mouni-Gaurav and family ' Yellow House
- Rakhi-Elesh and Family ' Green House
- Shilpa-Apurva and Family ' Orange House
The various games played at the sports day are:
- Jalebi Race (the mother and one child had to participate)
- Relay Race (The father and one child had to participate)
- Three-legged Race (the couples had to participate)
- Lemon and Spoon race (one child had to participate
- 100m race (all the fathers participate)
As Juhi is not present, the Red house is unable to participate in a few games in which the mothers' participation was compulsory
Pakhi is a bit unwell and also gets nervous and starts crying. So Shilpa consults the doctor and takes her home
Shilpa handles it very well and explains to Pakhi that it was for fun and there was no compulsion
Mouni is very excited because in school she used to never participate in sports; this was her first real sports day in which she actually participated
Final results as follows:
- 1st Place ' Yellow House (Mouni & Gaurav)
- 2nd Place ' Blue House (Debina & Gurmeet)
- 3rd Place ' Green House (Rakhi & Elesh)
Juhi apologizes to the boys because she was one of the reasons that they were not in the top 3
All the families get busy with their dance practice for the competition that is to be held the next day
