TRP CHANNEL RATING 12TH MAY 2016

few years back sony was in top 3 or 5 at the most. channel needs to reshuffle not just their shows but the main managements/heads who can bring fresh ideas.

Is it pakka true because Zee Anmol, Sony Pal, Rishtey are the channels that telecast mostly purana shows again. I used to watch Sony Pal for Bade Acche Lagte Hain, Left Right Left, Parvarrish S1 and KTLK ka re-telecast ke liye. But then they cancelled them midway.😛 But haan possible hai because hardcore fans of the show may watch them - Zee Anmol mein toh beech mein DID ka bhi aata tha.

I know for fact that zee anmol and rishtey show repeat shows and yet they do better than sony who airs new shows??!! something wrong with sony. I think it's with the people who are in charge of the channel.

Sony tries to stay away frm kala jadu, nagin, saas bahu and tries new shows. Content wise regressive disgusting showskam aaye hai sony par... BUT phir after a while they feel trps nahin mil raha hai so then they ruin it. They dont stick to the stand of being 'different' for long. Confused log hai ..
For eg jee le zara had a lovely older woman younger man story but wahi saas bahu devrani standing behind doors & planning plotting hone laga and it went off air 😭 😭

If Sony comes at least in TRP, then stands at one of the top position considering its online viewers. Sony comes up with shows which attract urban and young audience, who prefer watching online rather than on TV. For me, the quality of shows Sony has, no other channel has that. Hanuman and Karn have good trps because the shows are for masses. While others like Parvarrish, Kuch Rang and Ek Duje, they come with urban approach. But Yes, SONY has one very disgusting tactic, they come up with new serial, promote at very good extent. But if they are coming with other new show, they sideline all their shows and start promoting their new one. ( show with decent trps are exception ) I think SONY shouldn't fight for trps, rather they should hold a strong grip in storyline and authenticity of the show, give good promos. TRP apne aap badegi.

@Lizzie- Dahleez is awesome and finite series. Star bhi kind of aise hi hai- they bring up fresh shows and expect it to match the TRP of Naagin, Saathiya etc. (No offense to Naagin etc ke fans). And then the channel peeps put pressure on the CVs and the CVs try to make it the mainstream thing - for eg. Badtameez Dil- it was a cool show and then the ratings were not skyrocketing so the CVs brought the male lead's tai ji/ bua ji and ruineeed the show by showing the planning and plotting stuffs. And ultimately they pull it off-air( Badtameez Dil ran on Hotstar atleast).

in the name and game of TRP's, all shows suffer. understand trp system going to disappear but when is a big ❓
