It is normal in Indian society to continue wearing the mangalsutra and sindoor after your husband dies to show honor and respect to you marriage.

no offfense but i think this is rather unfair.
a guy does not need to wear anything to show he is taken(married) but a women needs to show respect to a relationship that does not exist.

It is normal for a widower to wear her mangalsutra and sindoor, because most women feel that by doing so they are really close to there beloved husband and I think it is a good approach. Finally we are doing the right thing, by not depriving a women from her rights. And I feel sorry for other parts of india where a female is still forced to part away from her mangalsutra and sindoor.
I hope this clears everybody's doubts and opens a new view point that I am sure everybody will concur with.

Well Radha's mom isnt a Widow.
Radha's dad left her, so she has all rights on her sindoor and mangalsutra

ohh yes yaaar, iam definitely with this... a woman need not take off everything wen her hubby dies.... It shud be left to the woman wat she wants to do with them... And no one shud force her to do something...
