'The Bachelorette India- Mere khayalon ki Mallika', is all wooing handsome hosts for helping the sexy lasso, Mallika Sherawat, find a suitable groom. The show, which is all set to go on air, on Life OK, sometime in August this year, is active in approaching a string of hosts.

The makers initially approached the 'Vicky Donor' actor, Ayushmaan Khurrana, for playing the perfect host for Mallika's show, but the actor refused due to hectic work schedule. Similarly, actors like Hiten Tejwani, Ronit Roy and Niketan Madhok were also tossed in as various options for the anchoring part.

When they all refused due to dates issue, the makers of the show approached Ayub Khan and Samir Soni. The former actor, currently is a part of 'Uttaran', playing the role of 'Jogi Thakur' and he has severe time constraints owing to the high TRP's of the show, which have picked up pace. Hence, he too has turned down the offer to play the host for the sexy siren.

Samir Soni, on the other hand, has been finalized to play the lead in Somersault's next onLife OK. According to the actor,The Bachelorette India show, along with his new show, might create certain problems in terms of clash of interests and also issues for being on the same channel. The actor was last seen in the popular daily soap 'Parichay' on Colors.

Although, Samir says that things have not been finalized and the talks are still on, but if he gets chosen, then gear up to watch your favorite television star in anchoring shoes for the first time.

The Bachelorette India is the desi version of the popular American show format. Although, the show is on similar format as 'Rakhi ka Swayamvar', it will have a fresh flavor of the American show.
