As reported earlier, the closure of the Balaji Telefilms show, "Parichay" has not been taken well by the fans of the show and the actors, who used to watch the show avidly. They all are feeling let down by the makers and terming its action as unfair. And not only audiences even a person from the star-cast shares a similar feeling. He is none other than the show's main lead, Samir Soni aka Kunal.

Samir sincerely felt that the show still had the advantage of tapping unexplored avenues as there was still a lot more to the plot and the characters. Hence Samir is seriously thinking of taking the onus on himself about producing the second season of his show.

He wants to take the story forward from the point from where the makers are deciding to end the show that is Kunal and Siddhi back together once again and the family moving into their new bungalow. From here onwards, Samir suggests that the story can be taken forward, by showing Kunal becoming money minded and the relationship equations seeing a change once again.
