hi salman, not only NRIs all indians in india also must teach their kids their respective mother tongue 😆

Hindi - that should be easy since the kids have to watch hindi movies whether they like it or not. Its the mother tongue that is difficult.

Once i told them that for plural of things add "O" and they added "o" to Naag also😆 and made it Nago instead🤣

Yep... In india People get beaten in Legislative Assembly if they take oath in Hindi 😆

My kids knows Urdu and can speak as well, but they dont know Gujarati... Me and my wife communicate in Gujarati if we have to hide our talks from kids but my boy is picking up Gujarati quickly...

Now they understand it very well. Still have issues with time but to tease them i tell them time in Guj so now even that they have started understanding it a bit. I am trying hard to pacify them so that they start to learn to read Gujarati. They were doing great in TO since their school taught Guju as international language but after moving out its difficult here.
