Today's episode got me thinking that we are actually biased towards certain characters in the show. What I mean by biased is that If one character does or says something bad or is out of line, we criticize them to the core; however, if another character does/says the same thing, instead of criticizing we tend to applaud that character😕.
I will give an example here, before leap when Siddhi told Kunal clearly that she is leaving him for money and higher status and Kunal believed her words, we went berserk criticizing Kunal for believing her and rightly so. We accused him of being selfish and wanted him not to believe Siddhi's words because of her past deeds and her selfless nature and all. We didn't want Kunal to think otherwise rather than no matter what the circumstances, Siddhi can never run after money and status.
Okay now ,today the situation was reversed, today Siddhi believed and verbally expressed it to Kunal that Kunal had married Richa for money so after Thakaral death, Kunal will inherit his fortunes. Why don't we see any problem with that? Why don't we criticize Siddhi for believing something that we all know and Siddhi should also very well know Kunal can never do Instead we applaud her accusations to Kunal😕.
Here is what Siddhi should have considered before accusing Kunal of something so heinous:
1. Had Kunal been money greedy, he would have not left Richa to begin with (5 years before SiNal got married)
2. Had Kunal been money greedy, He would have divorced Siddhi when Richa had come to propose him 2 days after SiNal's wedding offering him and his family everything a man can desire for including Siddhi's higher education in US.
3. Had Kunal been money Greedy, he wouldn't have come back to Siddhi in the C-Night. He could have very well stayed with Richa.
4. Had Kunal been money Greedy, Richa wouldn't have to force Siddhi to leave him, she could have persuade Kunal offering him all her money and fortune.
I can go on and on and on listing many points, but I think I have made my point here.
I am sure many will try to reason with me that Siddhi had reasons to do/say such things, but Did she really??? Today Siddhi proved she didn't know Kunal as well as we thought she did.
Had she known Kunal well, she would know that there must have been some other reason other than monetary greed behind Richa-Kunal marriage, like Richa blackmailing him? I mean who better than Siddhi herself knows how capable Richa is of blackmailing someone to get what she wants, yet she chose to believe that Kunal married Richa for money😲.
Not saying Kunal believing same thing about Siddhi is right and he is still being criticized for it, but then why Siddhi is being applauded for believing same thing about Kunal? Are we really biased with our views when it comes to Kunal and Siddhi?
