Veena: Siddhi tum bhi!!! Apne aur paraye khoon mein kuch to fark hota hai..kisi ke bhi bache ko apna kaise??

S: Maa bacho se rishta to dil se judta hai. Aur hamara rishta to Sia se jud gaya hai

At home

Kunal: Siddhi kal jaayenge hum orphanage..

Siddhi: Poor sia! Y does she have to spend anytime at an orphanage?

Kunal: Kya kare! Rules and regulations!! Don't worry.. tomorrow we will go and start the adoption proceedings and soon we will welcome our sweet little Sia home~

Next day

Incharge: Mr and Mrs Chopra you can start the adoption application process. We will evaluate your application and decide if you can adopt Sia

Kunal: Evaluate? Her parents wanted us to be her legal guardians. Hey had started the legal proceedings..

I: But they weren't completed. I am sorry Mr. Chopra rules are rules!!

Si: But can we atleast take her home? Why should she live like an orphan when we want to provide her a home?

I: I am sorry Mrs Chopra even that isn't possible. But you can come and visit her everyday! Why don't you come and visit her now..

Kunal and Siddhi made their way to the nursery with the incharge..

Sia started clapping when she saw them. She couldn't understand wher Mamma, Dadda and Lahul Baiya had gone. But atleast Kunu Anku and Zidhi Aunty were there.

Kunal: Hi princess.. Come to uncle

Kunal lifted her up and she promptly gave him a kiss. She was happy to be with Anku and Aunty. Kunal and Siddhi were there all day and Sia was happy and cheerful. But when the time came to leave she began to sob uncontrollably. She held onto kunal and siddhi's fingers with her tiny fingers and refused to leave them. With great difficult they managed to detach themselves.

Kunal: Mam I get that rules are important. But can you atleast try and fast trackthe process

I: I'll try and do my best

Everyday Kunal and Siddhi came to visit Sia. With every passing day Sia was more reluctant to let them go. Some part of her had begun sensing that Mamma, Dada and Lahul Baiya weren't returning soon and Anku and Aunty were all she had.

After a week the In-Charge called them to her office

I: Everyting looks fine. But one thing makes me hesitatnt to let you adopt Sia.

K and S: WHAT?

I: You are trying to have a baby of your own?

Kunal: Yes but just because we are trying to have a biological child doesn't mean we cant adopt Sia?!

I: Mr and Mrs Chopra Sia has been through a lot. Now we want that her adoptive [arents focus only on her for a while. So the question is

"Can you put off having a biological child for a minimum period of two years?"

I know that this is a major decision.. please take your own time

Kunal and Siddhi were in a daze as they made their way home. They loved Sia a lot but they were also keen on having a child of their own. SOON. They talked all night but couldn't come to a decision. Finally they fell asleep undecided. Next day it was pouring in Bombay making it impossible for them to move out. This was the first day they hadn't visited Sia since she had been put in the orphanage. They went to visit her early the following day.

I: thank God you are here. Sia didn't eat or sleep yesterday. She just kept crying.

Kunal and Siddhi hurried to Sia. Kunal held her in his arms while Siddhi began feeding her the mashed baby food. She ate happily and fell asleep. Happy and Content.

Those moments helped Kunal and Siddhi make their decision. Sia had already chosen them to be her family. And now they had to do their part. They would adopt her even if it meant putting off having a biological child for a few years. After all Sia was also their OWN child. Their OWN daughter.
