I said it before; I'll say it again - episode was such a drag for me. I name it "OTT episode"
Enough discussion was done on Siddhi's new look, makeover and whatever took place at Diwan house. For me real annoying part was Abhay teaching Siddhi use fork to eat pizza😕.
But what really got on my nerves was Kunal's challenge for AC - 100/100, really???
I would be fine if it was 90-95/100 but 100/100. And while AC was preparing with all he has, what was Kunal doing? Just roaming around house, looking how much AC is determined to score high and participate in competition. I wouldn't mind if Kunal too was looking for ways to make 25K while AC was all involved in his studies. But seems he will wait for AC to get 100 and then take action?
Really CVs? What is need for such drag? Are you trying to build intensity here? Well things are intense and enough build up is here for Kunal's work progress. I don't understand this. Day before we saw Kunal admitting he has failed in his relationships. He was preoccupied with his own pain, his failures and Siddhi leaving that he didn't pay attention to other things. He was living like hell and couldn't stand up for his responsibilities. So I say that was good acknowledgment. Later we saw symbolic scene where Kunal is taking care of AC at bed and we assumed it hinted role transformation for Kunal. So for me that was enough build up for Kunal's work track to start up. So what was the need for this challenge? Is this challenge suppose to mean challenge for Kunal? Getting 100/100 is hard but it is even harder for Kunal to get 25K? Are they showing if AC can go ahead fulfill such hard work for his dream; Kunal must fulfill his responsibility as father and make his dream come true? So really challenge is not for AC but Kunal?
Sorry but I had enough symbolic scenes and metaphors to move story forward. I don't see point of so much build up before we get it. Dear CVs; it takes you 2 seconds to ridicule Kunal by showing creature walk into his bedroom but it takes you so much build up to redeem Kunal now. I know it would look stupid if Kunal had just walked into court room and won the case when he was no where near court for 9 whole years. But him falling in court, embarrassment, acknowledgement in front of Seema, AC's dream are enough to at least make him look for work.
Or it was drag because today's episode was supposed to be all about Siddhi's makeover? Seriously I want story to move forward with both Kunal-Siddhi. For while Siddhi's story was stuck and now Kunal's part is just paused after perfect opportunity. Can't we have one track with Kunal in focus handled decently from start to finish?
We were willing to endure through side tracks and bit late SINAL reunion if both characters were to build up. But building up them as single parent, confident individual handling their profession and fulfilling their responsibilities. Moving forward doesn't mean Veena pressuring Kunal to get with creature while Sulekha dreams of her son's family with Siddhi. Really if you want to drag it, go ahead but add some substance to it.
I am guessing we will not see Kunal's story moving ahead till Monday. Really just get on it now.
