How can a man????

I too liked it but it only raised my BP to find out answers I want since leap. I am talking about Gaurav blasting at Kunal. I agree with almost everything Gaurav said to Kunal except Richa thing. (Kunal hadn't just given up because Richa left him. First Kunal was blocked by Thakral to get any job what so ever. Later he ventured new business but Thakral once again came and ruined it. That resulted in family losing money and status in society. Kunal would obviously feel guilty for that. His status in family too came under censor as well as his skills. Raj stopped talking to him. Kunal didn't retaliate against Thakral because of Richa. But Richa rejected Kunal that came as final nail to coffin. Kunal thought at least she would understand but no. So Kunal giving up on life was cumulative force and not just Richa. So by summing all this up, Kunal lost his confidence and zest for life.)

Gaurav talking about Siddhi; well we know that but more is needed on that as well.

But what I do not understand is how can a man take so much? Kunal even said to AC not to be like him, stay away form him, he understands he's not a good father figure and AC has to take care of him. Kunal realizes his bad habits and all. Like all of us, Kunal too agreed with what Gaurav had to say and accepted he is wrong.

But then how come he is taking so much? If he was egoistical, he wouldn't hear all this and just walk out at earliest point. But no he stood there and accepted all humiliation in front of family, his son and strangers. Sure he later was hurt and went into room, but outside he appeared as he doesn't care.

I am just not able to digest what the hell happen that a man becomes so pathetic. I feel he wants to hear all these and want people to treat him with contempt. Something is really wrong here.

But even then somehow I can't still him not undertaking atleast his son's responsibility unless hwt he is trying to accomplish here is to ensure taht his son does not turn out to be like him!Probably that is how broken he is!

@paradigm - I am not so sure about Kunal buckling up upon AC's harsh words. I feel only Siddhi was able to get to him and she didn't have to be harsh. Why I feel that, as Siddhi was only one who understood Kunal better than anyone else. Sure Anand and Seema got him, but at times he is beyond himself.

@hima - I know this behavior is consistent with Kunal's character. Not just him, but if any individual who loses foundation; he's bound to feel dejected. When Parichay started out, Kunal sure was in depressive state. But there was a back story there. Kunal received one after another shock in his life. Career, status in society, fame, money all was gone. due to that he lost so called love and even place in family. In his own family he was like an outsider. Sure he was living just for hack of it. Siddhi came along and filled all the gap and it makes sense as her not being here has put him back there. But right now he's worse then when he started out. Earlier he use to question if he's good enough or not; now he accepts he's not and people should just leave him. For him to go to such an extent, shouldn't there be more than what we have so far? It's not like people are blocking him from work or anyone questioning his skills; he himself no longer believes and to much greater extent then what we have so far. We know he's guilt ridden; just how deep the process goes? First it was lack of action on his part, but right now it feels deliberate attempts to ruin every factor.

I agree with promo; they are trying to show if black coat is coming; that's because Siddhi is back in his life. He feels her presence and that alone is more than enough.
