also to add - we saw Kunal today aware of his short-comings as father, son and just a human being as well. He asked Anand if he wanted to be like his father; good for nothing person.

May be he will ask Richa..

you know jay I have not seen the episodes after rohit died and the talk of Richa -Kunal marriage started doing rounds but i have read some where in the WU ,(may be) that Kunal himself said that he is dead .. has no ambitions or desires left in life ...and also in the initials days, he was not even looking at his son because the baby reminded him of sidhi..

though with time he started loving his son as he reminds him now of Anand Sr , which I hate to core but still he does not have any ambitions and desires ..

Also we should remember that Kunal has always given up at crucial times be it rape case, murder case etc and it was sidhi who fought till the end without giving up hopes. she stood by him like a pillar, and was the main reason that he started leading a normal life and came out of his self imposed exile.. and once Sidhi deserted him , he is back to square one...
though he loves anand immensely but still his source of inspiration, his support system is not there with him..
Anand C is his weakness, hence he gets manipulated or emotionally blackmailed for his sake but sidhi was his strength .. remember "tum jo pakkad lo haath mera duniya badal sakta hoon main".. so now she is not holding his hand and he is incomplete without her..
that 's what i think.. as far as being adamant of not going to court, may be it reminds him more of Sidhi whom he wants to forget..
or may be guilt of not being able to win the most important case of his life...

padmini I agree that with Kunal's "I am dead" dialogue and also his affection for child would have grown with time. It is also true Anand is Kunal's weakness and Veena-Richa knowing this manipulates him all the time.

Well Kunal hasn't given up on all occasion. Kunal had given up on things when it came to Siddhi's life both in rape and murder case.

I am also all for him not having any desires and ambitions as Siddhi is the one who understood, accepted and filled all the gaps for Kunal. I also agree he is incomplete without Siddhi so hopelessness is obvious.

He is onyl alive for sake of his son but still it is not enough.

Giving up on practice and life without doing anything where Siddhi is concerned and his son for whom Kunal wants to do a lot just does not make sense.

Pre-leap without Siddhi, Kunal did have a job; so you know what happened there?

dats wat Jay...cvs need to show wat happened in these 9 years in kunal's life ... the story isnt progressing much these days ...it will be better if cvs showed some fbs of the past ...atleast abt wat happened in the temple after richa agreed to marry kunal...
