I know that misunderstandings and probllemss are an integral part of serials. But even if the CVs wanted to show misunderstandings; they could have done it in a much more subtle way. We all know that Siddhi and Kunal have a significant age gap between them. This has never been an issue between them except for being the subject of a few comedy scenes.
But in the context of the pregnancy they could have brought this issue out in a graver way. Siddhi could have been shown to be more carefree (not careless) about it and Kunal much more worried and concerned. After all he is having a kid much later in life. Gaurav his younger brothey has 7-8 year old daughters and we know how much he dotes on his nieces. So this difference in attitude could have created problems and then Kunal bursting out and telling siddhi why he is so paranoid. Talking about how he had never thought that the joy of being a father would come in his life and how much their child means to him.'
Siddhi could be shown to be understanding and becoming more careful herself while helping kunal loosen up and enjoy the period instead of being anxious about it
