Im not usually this complimentary & dont give in to gushing so easily, but it was only Samir's acting & most importantly his besura singing that made the scene near perfect. He's got that "i don't care a F***" look & a smile on his face while singing, but the words tell a story of gut wrenching sorrow.
Another thing that made this song perfect was that its in keeping with Kunal's character, since he is so fond of old songs on his radio.

Vidhi, its an old Rajesh Kumar song, sung by Kishore Kumar. movie was 'Mere Jeevan Saathi'

Agreed. The bhang has brought Kunal's inhibitions down and Sameer's portrayed that very well without going OTT. It's very easy for an actor to go OTT in such situations so I'm glad he stayed in the area of happy drunk rather than silly, stupid happy drunk 😆 That's why the song and his emotions were still believable. Otherwise he would have just looked stupid singing that song.

I was also thinking of the same thing about how perfect the song was to Kunal's character - literally one of the bhoola bisra songs that Siddhi was talking about yesterday.

I couldn't believe my ears when I heard Kunal singing it today😍. I mean of all songs, he chose this most romantic song to sing for Siddhi❤️. What else this girl needs to understand that he loves her so dearly. Loved the choice of song for today and also loved the way Sammy performed it besura yet so adorable😍
