why was kunal drunk?

seriously guys this man is so complex that its very difficult to understand him...he came home deadly drunk n when his father ask him why he is drunk...he says he don't know...people usually get drunk because of pain...happiness...problems or celebrations...but here i myself is confused why he was drunk...others gives one reason why they got drunk but kunal gave so many reasons but can't choose one why he was drunk?...what do you think why kunal was drunk?...is it because lack of confidence in himself?...is it because he is guilty of the consummation night with siddhi?...is it because he has fallen in love with the same girl whom his late bro loves?...is it because he mentioned divorce to siddhi but in actual he can't live without her n loves her immenselfy...the thought of seperating from her is shattering him completely?...or is it because he thinks siddhi loves anand n whatever happen between them that night he feels siddhi hates him for that?...why was kunal drunk...he gave so many reasons that i myself is confused...wart do u think guys

good question, kunal himself said he don't know why he was drunk. i would say there two reasons,

I have only one reason y kunal was drunk... Its just coz he cant live without siddhi... He loves her a lot... Just to cover up that reason he had put forward those other stupid reasons...

He loves Siddhi unconditionally [ just like Siddhi does with Kunal]. They are so much in love , that they cannot see each other in pain. Infact in past week, both have spoken this part [ Siddhi when she was leaving home before consumation, said she will return all phone calls but cannot see Kunal in pain. Kunal returning the favour by saying he can take hatred from Siddhi but cannot see her in pain].
Due to their problem of not speaking out their mind , resulting MU has created this scenario where inspite of loving each other, they are in pain.

Though he is in pain and scared to let Siddhi go from inside, hence outwardly he is asking her to give divorce [ as he thinks he has caused her pain by consumating and is afraid to confess to her for fear of rejection. that is why he cannot see her eye to eye and started drinking to overcome the sorrow]. That is what resulted in that poem other day. On other hand, Siddhi is afraid that he would reject her as she is still insecure of Richa [ having seen her in kunal's arms and heard the 3 words].

kunal drunk becos of turmoil within him. he is fighting with in himself.
his mind & heart are fighting. his mind saying, u broke promises made to anand tat he will look after siddhi & to siddhi tat he will not take anand's place & done wrong to love/consummate ur bro's love.so do right thing divorce siddhi n let her free.

his heart loves siddhi. his heart beats for siddhi. can't imagine/fear the loss of his heart beats(siddhi).his heart saying/wanting love.

internal war going btwn his mind n heart.he is righteous person. he always gives preference to right so thought of giving divorce to siddhi is right n decided it.
but his heart was giving ache in the form of pain n suffering. so to overcome it or say temporary relief he drunk.

so siddhi has to make him realise it's not wrong n she loves him.
so as it's soap more drama will be there n directly or indirectly by siddhi or by circumstances kunal realises tat siddhi loves him n it's not wrong n he get peace n moves on.
