I don;t think kunal is aware He has always been a person who does not accept people telling him what to do and when siddhi does that he gets challenged. And since its so new to him he responses is what he has always done anger.

They have a friendship and even though he has one with Richa he always acknowledges what Siddhi has done for the family. He has been listening to things from her far more than he has done with his parents and bros. As vineet mentioned when u stay in a room together the dynamics of the relationship does change. So now he also looking to see waht Siddhi's reaction was.
