Only Regret

This show had been blessed with amazing leads who indeed shared a brilliant chemistry. It started beautifully with Naina and Raghav meeting often just be coincidence. Trust was built and friendship was budding when everything shattered and they ended up being life-partners. Little to large misunderstandings and then patch up showed how the main characters were still rebuilding their trust. All this was scripted and executed well.

The show went downhill with the surrogacy track. It was a good concept, teaching the viewers both the importance of sacrifice for a loved one yet educating them about surrogacy. But it all started due to Naina not having enough faith in Raghav's love for her, that she failed to confide in him. Had she done that, she'd have been living with her beloved.

When they both simultaneously returned to India, even then things could have been set right. But alas, we the viewers were'nt as lucky. But do you remember guys, how before the bomb blast episode, Naina and Raghav both complimented each other and said bye? All of us thought, Naina was to die. Little did we realise, it was the last time we would see Raghav smiling, heck even alive. The chaos that followed was again due their inability to accept that the other person loved them as much. If only they trusted their partner, Raghav could have easily been alive.

As much as it's their fault, one cannot forget Harjeet's evilness. She legit destroyed four lives. And in the end, all she got was a jail term? That surely wasn't justified, she should have been dead for the amount of pain she caused others. As for Reyhaan, his death is justified not because he caused Raghav's death but because Naina won't have accepted him thus it was better he returned to his Ahana.

My only regret with the show is, if only Raghav had died knowing Naina didn't cheat on him. She loves him so much as to cherish him and their love for over 7 years, it would have made sense if he knew it as well. This show ended on a full circle note with Naina defining love in both the first and the last episode. Overall, this show has given me beautiful Raina moments to cherish. But alas, if only Raghav knew...
